after losing their in the cup and their fans giving it the big one i really hope we stuff them. the fact it was our reserves/youths seemed to pass them by.
-
anyone got a spare ticket for this afternoon?
-
we miss decent cetnre backs, saturday s goal came from that, sounds like tonights as well. taylor and coloccini are class, our replacements aren't.
-
saw the aftermath, with various lads on the floor and dogs all over the place.

Espanyol. - because i lived there. saying barca is like anyone outside the uk saying Man Utd or Arsenal and then trying to justify the gloryhunting on their style of football.
-
i'm going. sorted.

Peterborough United 2-0 Newcastle United (League Cup R3)

Krul's kicking was pretty poor generally. first penalty was definite. Lua Lua was putting some effort in but that means nothing if you can't cross or pass the ball to someone in the same shirt. Smith made the first proper defensive header of the night when he came on... -

nah, a full strength team and we would have been fine - they had a full strength team out. our lot looked physically smaller, when the triple substitution came on they actually looked the same size, which helps. the kids didn't know what they were doing. vukcic in particular was terrible. -
Another request for an Ispwich ticket. my brother only just found out he is in the uk this weekend. pm me please.

We're not in league one yet. Palace, Watford, Reading, QPR. there's a couple round london.
-
edited: this team, with few exceptions, couldn't give a shit and are cunts.

What was it like over there for the Hatton Pacman fight? the streets were silent. then very loud. cinemas were showing it. then the homecoming was insane, national day of celebration etc... shame he's spoiling it all by trying to become a politician.
-
It's a long-shot... are there any Mags in Manila wanting to watch the match, celebrate, drown their sorrows this weekend? I suffered the fulham game with a load of cocky man utd fans and can't face the same again. cheers.

I think it says that the first 4 players named are leaving at 10 o'clock, the others at 18.15. I'm not sure if it says that the docs will leave with them. the doctors are staying with them, probably to ensure they actually get on the flights. nothing more.

Marcelino from Real Zaragoza, although the contract release fee will be very high.
-
quiet but definitely not forgotten. there was an article on the business of sport which interviewed scudamore and he was talking about the possibilities of game 39, especially if forthcoming tv deals aren't as big.

and hope that it's the milito of two seasons ago who turns up. seriously though, zaragoza have got to sell. they have 5 strikers, three of them internationals to play in segunda, and they've just signed another player who can play in that position. if they don't go up this season they're going to go into freefall.
-
both aimar and matuzalem have spent a large part of this season injured though. However the season before aimar was dynamite for zaragoza, he was a joy to watch. and zaragoza have just managed to get hold of a pretty decent coach so we'll see what happens.

hopefully it'll be like the marca, camacho for Newcastle story. Alvaro is woeful.
-
marca are reporting the deal as having fallen through and alvaro saying he's never going to play for levante again. I saw him playing a couple of times for real zaragoza, he wasn't very good.
-
this was packed for the derby. now, istanbul, any ideas?
-
you'd best add Camacho to that list. According to Marca he'll be our manager for 2008-09. My Spanish is non-existent, but if I'm reading that article correctly it says Camacho will take over in 2008/2009 after Newcastle started talks with him over the festive period, is that right? yes, that's correct.
