  1. Sounds like he might have been wearing the away kit from 2004-05...

Cheers Zath - if you do find some and you can scan them and post them on here, i'd be most appreciative...

Helping a bloke out who runs a site on the history of football kits in England. Told me he'd heard about the 'CenterParcs' kit but had never seen it. Was trying to source a pic for him but that's the only one i could find.
  4. They were garbage yesterday though and severely missing the likes of Zidane, Henry & Vieira IMO. My money's on Holland and Italy to get through the groups.
  5. Nick's won Allez les bleus, everyone tipping the krauts, wops and spics are in for a surprise, I reckon Benzema will come of age in this tournament. I'm glad I'm on them at 8/1. Cracking predicition there Stevie..... They were absolute fucking garbage man! Portugal for me, they've got a much easier run to the final than most of their rivals.

Has anyone got (or know where I can find) any images of the shirt we wore against Monaco for the away leg of the UEFA Cup back in 1997? It was the one where we had 'CenterParcs' on the shirt instead of the Brown Ale logo due to French advertising laws on alcohol. The only one I can find is this: Any help would be appreciated
  7. I thought Larsson was punching well above his weight last season - bagged quite a few goals as well IIRC.
  8. I drove past the scene of the accident yesterday and quite what the fuck McCormick was playing at is beyond me. Straight bit of road before 6am on a Saturday morning and the front vehicle somehow ends up in the ditch from lane 2. He must have been driving like a complete prick! And even if he wasn't, he was over the limit... Hang up your gloves son, you're off to keep Mr Barton company. And I doubt he'll be in there as long as you will.

    iPhone

?? This is absolutely disgusting, I had to dish out about $399 for the iPhone 1.0. I got a sub-par phone which incidentally I had to replace two times because of quality control issues at Apple. Now they release a 3G version that is substantially cheaper, I am more anti-Apple than ever. Sherif Kadry, Houston, TX Aye, that's the one - so 'anti-Apple' that he just HAD to fork out the best part of $400 for a phone that couldn't achieve half of what those on the market at a quarter of the price could... What a tit!

    iPhone

God bless those who couldn't wait and just HAD to have one when they were first released. Half the price and now 3G? They must be fucking fuming! Worth having a read of the 'have your say' comments on the BBC News site - the bloke from Texas cracks me up!
  11. No shit ! Surely the newly signed contact will do likewise...? Sounding similar to the "we're watching Dirk Kuyt.... what do you mean he's signed for Liverpool?" episode...
  12. Going by where it's falling over, it sounds like problems with the system32 directory. You tried using the recovery disk or sticking the hard drive in another machine as a slave and checking it for errors?
  13. 10 place grid penalty for him (and Rosberg) at the next event - bloody right he should too for that goof! Serves him right for taking the piss out of his old man for crashing a Porsche at 30mph - what goes around comes around, you crashed an F1 car at about 10mph into a parked vehicle..... twat! Had to laugh at Raikkonen. No anger, no pushing, no gesticulation, just a tap on the shoulder and a point in the direction of the red light.. How to put a man down when he's already lying on the ground.
  14. Shit game as it was... it was funny as fuck to see Aldridge and Jack Charlton hammering that 4th official because he wouldn't let any water on the pitch. Probably a red card offence these days...
  15. 1 Graeme Souness 2 Glenn Roeder 3 Sam Allardyce 4 Ruud Gullit 5 Kenny Dalglish

    Ashton?

He wouldn't come though would he? Specifically asked for a move to London to be near his kids. Fulham or a drop into the Championship seems his only viable options at the moment...

    Ashton?

Solano on a free... I actually thought he'd done a decent job for them last season. Can see him heading to Fulham tbh
  18. seemed like a reasonable appointment at the time though. Yeah, in fairness he just went metal whilst at NUFC. Dunno if 'mental' is the right phrase. He just believed that no one man was bigger than the club (which he's actually right about) and giot obsessive about Alan Shearer with regards to that. I think he was naive and didn't understand the enormity of the job but apart from that he didn't do too bad a job and certainly nowhere near the level of Souness.
  19. *sigh*... if you're going to add them, at least get decent versions of them...
  20. You don't half talk some shit Sammy lad.... (apt for this thread I s'pose..)
  21. The Karmic cycle is complete. If they were paying us money to take him, I'd agree with you... Sadly they've still effectively got one over on us Pretty ironic really that Allardyce's way back into football management could be to replace the man who will leave to manage the club he elected not to choose 12 months ago.
  22. Dare I suggest we've been owing you lot one like this ever since you managed to dispatch a certain Scotsman in our direction for a ridiculous amount of compensation?
