Remember that last time we only took the hour because we were all off to the match in the afternoon. I doubt there'll be a game on so the opportunity for a longer session at 5-a-side will be there.
-
An essential rule for 5-a-side is an indoor court and 5 players on each time. Enforcing nobody in the area is for homs man!
-
Agreed! I'd argue the case for scrapping the 'nobody in the penalty area' rule too Can't say I agree with nobody in the penalty area on 5-a-side like. We've scrapped that rule when we play 5-a-side at work and it works well. And as a keeper, I prefer it as you lose that 'non-contact' bollocks!

Take it to pm you two! sorry, was just asking an innocent question...don't want to be frowned upon for Pming young boys.... now..back to the football will you all be going out on the Friday night before also ?? You're unhappy about that? Have a word with yourself not unhappy about going to see the Arctic Monkeys...unhappy that I won't be able to come along to Eldon Leisure and witness all the "fit" bodies It'll be mid-afternoon on a weekend by the time we play, you'll be mortal and howling at the moon by then. this is exactly why I want to come....to dispel all the alcoholic bullshit never mind I will just have to turn up at a match piss up instead...... but if you should find another date suits everyone better that will be fantoontastic I can just imagine us all having a knockabout down on the courts at Eldon Leisure when you rock up looking like something off Bumfights, arguing like Muttley with an invisible foe, and then vomiting over the balcony onto the keeper. No fucking way I'm going in goal this time.....
-
That'd be some fucking hearse
-
More chance for you to prop the posts up then
-
Aye, I'm planning to make it up whenever it is so if it's the weekend of the 28th then that'll be that Shall we sticky this one as the summer piss up thread part II?? SLP, remembering all the grief you had with Eldon Square last time, I doubt you'll need to worry about booking a court for some time yet.

Food - sushi for me too....yeuch, can't even imagine it Drink - hmmm ...hard one this....have to think about it..ginger ale comes to mind I used to throw my face up at sushi and then tried it once. Most of the time the fish is cooked (smoked makeral, smoked salmon, tuna) and rice - it's lovely but you need to get 'proper' sushi - cheap stuff is horrid! Also, at the advice of someone else, tried ginger ale with Jack Daniels as opposed to coke - was lovely
-
Marmite - lovely stuff but it's true what the advert says, you either love it or hate it. I have it mainly on toast but i have been known to put it in a sandwich with ham and cheese... Lamb - Awesome flavour but it is a bit fat. I wouldn't say chewy fatty though, the meat itself is very tender it's just there's a lot of fat surrounding it and therefore it doesn't look like you're getting a lot for your money Gin - smells like perfume so I personally avoid it.

When we were doing weekend work in London last year, there was a group of us staying in a hotel and I got the last round of the night in. One bloke ordered a large brandy and the barman served it up in one of those brandy glasses they pick the balls out of during the World Cup draw. I counted 6 measures going in there and that drink was £18 alone!! Think he picked up on the fact we'd had a few - thank god for expenses is all I can say!
-
Hasn't he just got a new deal?
-
Ill today so not doing anything at all except keeping my feet up!
-
Congratulations JawD.... I remember when we were expecting our first, walking into Mothercare at 12 weeks and absolutely shitting myself at the amount of stuff I thought we'd need to buy - it all becomes rational after a while though. Hope all goes well and your other half has a healthy and trouble-free pregnancy

You're fooling no-one! Bet he only gets it to check for notes from "Sophie"

Fish - if it's a Dell machine then somewhere on the case you'll find a serial number that the call a 'Service Tag'. If you go to http://support.dell.com/ and enter the service tag in the relevant area, you'll get an outline of what the standard machine came with (type and size of memory) and also what slots there are on the motherboard just by clicking the correct links So make your choice of 'what to buy' a lot simpler

The roots of the hayton family name goes back to the ancient Anglo-Saxon culture of Britain. The surname is thought to derive from one of several place names composed of the old English elements "heah" or "high" and "tun," meaning "enclosure or settlement." There was a settlement of Heighton in the county of Sussex, and a Hightown, in Lancashire. The surname hayton belongs to the large category of Anglo-Saxon habitation names, which are derived from pre-existing names for towns, villages, parishes, or farmsteads. Spelling variations of this family name include: Heighton, Highton, Huyton and others. First found in Sussex where they were seated from very ancient times, some say well before the Norman Conquest and the arrival of Duke William at Hastings in 1066 A.D. Some of the first settlers of this family name or some of its variants were: William Heighton who settled in Philadelphia Pa. in 1828; William Highton settled in Maryland in 1771.

You ended up in 'Kudos' or whatever they call it these days, didn't you??? BIG mistake! Hemel Hempstead is a shit-hole too

Having lived there for 5 years, I disagree although you do need to know where to go

How many people could predict what Mourinhio or Wenger would do? Good luck to him like. Mourinho and Wenger at least look like they have something going on behind their eyes. Aye it's a good point. My Dad sorted a mortgage out for Clarky when he was 18. Said the lights were on but definitely no-one was home
-

Added :idiot: Zathras, i'm not sure why we'd need those ones you've suggested as they replicate ones we already have. Unless others want them back too??
