Ashton is a quality player. I think some people are blinkered by long term injuries because of what we've seen in recent years, particularly with Dyer, Woodgate & Owen. I don't suppose we should ever have signed Shearer either seeing as he was majorly crocked when he was at Blackburn..?

I'm with Gemmill on this one, it's not basic to people who don't work in IT. If you have a low level of IT knowledge, you should be able to understand the concept of what it's about (and I suspect some of you posting comments that you haven't got a clue what it's about are doing so to strengthen the argument against Fop). The reason for posting it wasn't necessarily the content it was the way his attitude to everyone else when he was quite clearly wrong. If you're after a site where it is purely Newcastle fans and everyone else is unwelcome, then you need to look elsewhere than both Toontastic and Newcastle-Online. There are other NUFC sites which will better serve your purpose. I'm not on about abuse for the sake of it, but allowed to abuse people who try to belittle my club, when they support dides like Spurs, and get their son to post rumours when they're on holiday. If you get that (the rumours) on here - which is something else I wouldn't accept anyway (same rules apply for everyone) then take it to PM or exchange comments away from the site. The reins are fairly loose here but abuse is not going to be tolerated.

If they're speculating that it's due to their shite performance, the whole fucking England team should come back in wooden boxes tbh. aM I banned again for remote abuse, or will it be discussed by the VIP group at a later date? ANYWAY I'm not posting on there again till the rules are changed. All abuse of opposing teams fans = acceptable I dont even tyhink thats unreasonable. Actually it's not acceptable over here either - if unwarranted abuse starts flying about, you can expect action to be taken. Just because they don't support the same team as you doesn't give you the right to subject them to abuse.

I'm liking it..... There's too much white on the current shirt for my liking, prefer the black arms (OK, would prefer them to be striped, but black is better than white IMO). Looks increasingly like the shoulder areas of the shirt will be all black. I guess that makes it an inverse of the previous shirt (one with the blue Northern Rock logo).
