Definitely! Past his best or not, he's still considerably better than we have. Wouldn't want us to fork out a transfer fee for him though - Bosman or nowt. Everyone reckoned Beardsley was past his best in 1993 remember - class shines through though.

'sokay - they needed some guinea pigs in order to get it right....

In Layman's terms, Microsoft claim that Internet Explorer 7 is bug-free.... It's anything but!
-
You know I'm fucking right though.... proven again that we are "amateurs in a systems admin world" as I have no clue if ya right or not I'd argue the amateurs are the clowns at MS who claim that BETA testing of IE7 is a thing of the past tbh.

Because the very reason they moved to two changes a year was because there are more new cars on the road these days than there would be available registration numbers for a single change. Interest free rates and purchases from abroad (primarily thanks to the internet) meant that the bottom fell out of the second hand car market and more and more people were buying brand new. They way they've got it now means that the current system doesn't need to be changed until March 2051. Even then I think they'll change it to: ABC 51DE Giving us another 50 years before it needs to be changed again.

That would be my first guess. But as Rikko says, if you've just bought it, take it back

installed the update last week...not bad so far. Hey Radg, we sound like a pair of nerds That'll be the update I'm avoiding like the plague then! I'll upgrade to it when I stop hearing the horror stories - same goes with Office 2007 which is good in principle but has a major issue which, if MS don't sort it soon, will piss off the paying public once it's unleashed for real. On a side note I totally disagree with 'upgrades' being including in Windows Updates. A patch or an update, yes but a complete upgrade should not be the result of "Windows has finished downloading your updates, please click OK to install"..

God your like the bliddy Oracle yee lad !!! He would be the Oracle if he got it 100% right... 1st March 2001, not April!

As we've got very limited parking spaces, I've taken a few photos of shit parking at work with my camera phone and sent them to security. Might be tempted to send them elsewhere now

Aren't we a big enough laughing stock already without adding fuel to the fire? We've not won a thing for nearly 40 years and the first cup we do win is awarded to us because of results we had absolutely no control over. Sure our directors haven't just pulled their christmas crackers a bit early and ooops, out pops a plastic cup?

Might sound a bit sad but the summer piss up weekend was great! Also getting the news that Charlotte had the all clear, twice!

Didn't they try to argue that Jenas was a better player than Parker when they joined their respective clubs in 2005?? Spurs fans would argue Ali Dia was an awesome player is he was wearing one of their shirts man - totally lowered expectations. Huddlestone is showing promise but he's in serious danger over media over-hype - some of them will have you believe that Man Utd got the dud player in Carrick!

Firmware issues with the phone perhaps?

Not one that was serving for that crime, but didn't one of the Krays get released?

2 life sentences, no time-scale given (don't think there ever is with 'life' as the length of it is descretional for the Home Office. I read somewhere that he is not to be considered for parole before 40 years though - same as the likes of Rose West and Ian Brady...
-
Watford is a fucking shit-hole. Some of us have the mis-fortune of having to work there
-
5 victims, he wont ever get out if its him! You'd like to think so. Surely got to be 5 life sentences, whats the minimum for "life" ? 15 years? 75 years for a 37 year old, can't see him getting out. Depends if they run them consecutively or concurrently... The maximum sentence currently operation in this country is 50 years IIRC.
-
5 victims, he wont ever get out if its him! You'd like to think so. Agreed.... On another note, I hope to fuck the police are right otherwise they've opened up an innocent member of the public for vigilante attacks. Surely it's not right to name him at this stage?
-
Agreed. They'd have to be ridiculously flat shoes that he was wearing as I was in trainers!
-
They've arrested someone.... Find it strange that they've named him already and makes you wonder if they've got something concrete on him. I remember when they arrested Ian Huntley, despite the fact that everyone knew who they arrested, the police refused to mention them by name. Also given the fact that he comes from the same village as that young girl 7 years ago who was murdered, you've got to wonder if the police are linking him to that too...

and does that background only appear when there is game at Wembley ???? If so how the fuck ? I have a pack with all british stadiums and you only get that picture when your playing them. So when I'm at home I always have a pic of SJP. I'll try and get them all uploaded later this evening for you to download. There is a config file in with the pictures that tells the game to do that with the pictures. Sounds the business - yeah if you could upload that I'd be grateful
