I agree with nut on the comments of the 'wafer thin' squad. If it was wafer thin, we'd be having to play injured players. What is evident is that we've got some kids coming through who are showing an extreme amount of promise. Taylor's postion in the first team is cemented and i'd be tempted to give Huntingdon a good run in the team. Edgar could do with some more exposure too. If Arsenal or Man Utd were missing 11 of the first team squad, they'd struggle and it's questionable if their kids would be able to do what ours did today. And lets not even contemplate Liverpool's kids after what happened in mid-week

Speaking of last month's Goal of the month competition, how the fuck did Scholes' effort against Villa better that of Matty Taylor against Everton? Quality goal, yes, but if it had been someone like Henry cracking that goal instead of Taylor, Ican't help but think he'd have won it.
