  1. The uswitch site is very good because you input all your usage information from an existing bill and it will advise you which is the best solution for you based on that. (think moneysupermarket.com does the same thing). Scottish Power are supposedly the best there is but there was something on the news the other day about them possibly being taken over by a Spanish outfit so the good rates may not last forever.. British Gas are thieving arseholes - at the end of the day the pipes that are supplying gas to your house are exactly the same, the only difference is that you're sending your money to another firm.

    HELP!

sure, but if this doesn't work I'm doing three things. 1) holding you personally responsible for the bloodbath that will undoubtedly follow and 2) letting Wacky and Smo do whatever they like to the people who own/run Dell and finally 3) buying a Mac with the money I demand from this shite- hawking company. good luck if you do ring Dell, the support centre is in India and their grasp wasn't too great when i last spoke to them You sure they gave you the right number? Whenever I speak to them they're in Ireland (then again that's usually the business support). HP on the other hand are from India and I've lost count the amount of times the cheeky feckers have told me to speak clearly so they can understand me! Cock-heads!

    HELP!

Put it in the right place and people may start!
  4. Possibly.... The laptop may need the BIOS settings updating in order for it to know that the drive is now attached. If that is not the case then I suspect it'll need a driver file which will need to be run in order for the machine to be able to see it. (probably available on the web). Do you know if this an 'after-market' drive or one that was shipped with the laptop? If it's the latter, it's worth scrolling through Google groups as it's likely someone else has come across a similar issue...
  5. To access it, right-click My Computer and from the menu select 'Manage' Computer Management should fire up and in the tree on the left hand pane, you need to look in System Tools > Device Manager

  9. I disagree like, I think the first one is them believing they're busting in on him having a wank and weren't quite expecting what they saw hence the gasps and the whispers before they speak. Also don't reckon his reaction is staged.

    Bad Parking

We've all seen examples of it, and when you're desperately looking for a parking space, coming across cars owned by people who are either incapable of parking or who are simply downright incosiderate, it can seriously piss you off... Get a picture of it and post it in here. I'll start things off with the gem I noticed in the car park at work today. (notice how the Ford badge and white line match up perfectly!)
  16. I don't see the link with that one like.... Neither do I, but it's DEFINATELY the correct answer... Howay man, it's Friday! If it was DEFINITELY the correct answer I might use it!
