We've had a run of injuries and poor luck and we're still in the top half of the table. I agree that Wigan will find it hard to sustain their form. IF we can get a few games without losing any major players things may start to look quite promising.

Yay for the half full brigade! I think in recent seasons we've finished in flattering positions. Towards the end of the 02/03 season I thought we were starting to look very average.

I haven't been this optimistic about our first team for a long time. Our midfield is defined and exciting and in Owen we have probably the best striker in the country. Our keeper is probably in the top 3 and if our defence can start gelling we could have a decent season. Seriously, I'm starting to feel good...

I agree, but if we go on a good run we should leave him alone tbh. The league's wide open (from 2nd down) and Chelsea are out of the cup we have the best chance in. We also don't have Europe to fatigue us! We could have a very good season from here on.

And there aren't any annoying white DJs!!? I know what you mean though, but it's a lose lose situation really. The days have yet to come when someone is JUST annoying. I happen to think that positive discrimination has been a good thing in getting the population used to ethnic faces even if some of the presenters are less than fantastic.
