  1. I don't see why anyone should pay for further education other than the person doing it. It's not a right. They only have to pay it back at a pretty easy rate once they're on good money.
  2. Absofuckinglutely. It's been fashionable to call anyone disagreeing with it a Daily Mail reader but ffs....I'm nearly 40 and only now do I think I'm in a position to bring a kid into the world.
  3. ...but not when our star signing gets his leg broken.
  4. Aye not many teams in the bottom half could replace Colo and Willo with Saylor and Sol. Good point. In fact I'm trying to think of who else other than us. You get my point. Chelsea don't even have another CB bar Invanovic. Just pulling yer leg mate.

  6. Hughton can hardly say he wants rid in public can he?
  7. I agree it's a hard one to call. Here's my take on it. 1: After making SHIT TON of money through SD, was on a high and felt he couldn't lose. Bought Newcastle Utd. 2: Swept along on the crest of a wave, on a high and ingratiating himself with supporters. Good for ego. 3: Realised he was in much deeper shit then he'd realised, recession, football not like retail, enormous panic. 4: Tried to sell, nobody would touch us with a bargepole, especially at his asking price 5: Took a gamble on not strengthening in January - relegated 6: By-product of relegation was easy offloading of shit players on huge money. Got lucky with Hughton, got promoted 7: Did some excellent deals on players. One of our best transfer windows in recent memory. 8: Plasters tacky logo all over iconic stadium 9: ???? It seems like it go either way. If he has managed to run us more efficiently (and it seems he has), then he may get a taste for it, especially if Hughton manages to keep us up, even more so with a top 10 finish. NUFC is essentially free, global, high profile advertising for his SD business at a pretty low yearly cost. The better we do, the better his business looks. We will see but any bollocks like selling Carroll or offering Hughton a derisory contract will show his intentions IMO. He's such a gambler that I think he's more likely to try and fly too close to the sun and fuck it all up again.
  8. Haven't liked what I've seen of Ranger which admittedly is fuck all. Would much rather see XISCO given a game.
  9. Well done. Now run along and enjoy it with your own kind. 5-1.
  10. Don't worry, there's no chance of that.
  11. I'd rather go down again than watch that brand of football week in, week out in the top flight. Seriously. x10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 Sam never got that and it obviously really bothers him.
  12. Piss poor and sadly all too predictable. This will convince Sam he was wronged here. He wasn't. He's still a pointless manager. Nobody will ever be excited by anything he does ever.
