1. Star wars i imagine without seeing the second pic
2. Home to Blackburn and our keeper is MOM, thats sums it up really! Have to say i thought Ramage did well, he stopped at least 5 crosses getting in from his side as they attacked us and lets be honest they likely would have scored from them! He does a good defensive job and he's not even in his best position, but i feel sorry for the likes of him and Taylor getting their introduction to regular prem football under this clown and in this situation.
3. The interviews i read with Souness had him saying he didn't see Ambrose playing a big part in our team so he was selling him. He did mention 1st team football, but you can't/shouldn't guarentee any player that and you certainly don't need to tell them, you let the season unfold and see what happens.
4. Well for fans of the cillit bang advert go here for the dance remix of it (they also do a one for the michael winner e-sure ads): Remix
5. I never understood the Ambrose sale, but then i rarely understand anything Souness does. We had a young midfielder with an eye for scoring goals, who had started to look much improved when given even a few games and who could go on to be a good player. More to the point though, if Souness for whatever reason wanted him out then you put him on loan and if he does well we get the player back with added experience, or at the very least we sell him for good money instead of what Souness accepted.
6. I love the fact he's been hit over 1 MILLION times, thats alot of anger being worked out by toon fans!
7. Its a frightening thought isn't it! We actually went to Blackburn and basically said "No, don't sack the useless fucker, let us PAY you money to take him off your hands!" Then we pay him a fortune to fuck the club up, and reward him for fucking us up by paying HIM compensation. For what he's done he should pay all the money from his time here back and more on top of that!
8. Fat Fred has to go and try and get the best out there like Hitzfeld and Le Guin and work down from there if they turn him down. The fact is if he offers them serious money, points out we are a club who was able to both afford and attract Michael Owen (even though not 1st choice we still got him), that we have 50,000 every match and under a good manager can be in europe every year and ultimately we are a big challenge for any manager who wants to seriously test themselves! And as people have said there is always the shot term option and new manager in the close season. Surely by now we've reached the point where everybody realises that ANYTHING is better than Souness and he has to go now.
9. But remember the table doesn't contain columns for: injuries, luck, referees, injuries and the fact our players are proper and giving 100%. I think you'll find if the table did indeed include these factors that we would be sitting in 1st place and awaiting the title!
10. Thats the way it is, even with the injuries he is putting out a team better than many of the clubs above us in the league. And aside from Manu, arse, pool and chelsea nobody has a better squad, they do however have better managers. Whoever takes over if he goes this season i won't judge on this season really because they are coming in very late, so i'd be looking for some improvement in league position and clear signs that things were moving forward, plus signs of actual tactics, organisation, coaching and the like. Whereas when fuckwitt souness took over it was after only 4 games so he had no excuse for not achieving anythign thats eason.
11. Look there he is, over there, the one person left who still wants me in charge!
12. I think it'll be a shite game, we'll be poor at best, but will scrape a win through 1 or 2 players individual ability and Fat Fred will think, thats good enough to keep Souness here for the rest of the season (though he pretty much thinks that anyway) So i'll say a win by one goal
13. It may well be the case, though god knows why as it doesn't do any harm!
14. Souness has already reduced the club to that of a laughing stock. 82488 He's turned us into a complete embarassment and a joke, but also one of the most depressing NUFC teams i've ever had to watch. If Fat Fred won't use his brains to see whats happening and won't listen to toon fans, then how about he listens to away fans who ever match take the piss, chant for Souness and show us up continually. Surely it reaches the end when you have a 3rd div teams fans ripping the piss, and then singing about Souness and have toon fans applaud them and agree!
15. Admit it, you're just jealous because he didn't join Chelsea 82496 He doesn't suit them either. Should have come to Newcastle IMO 82501 Damn right! We could coach any goals, skill, flair and ability out of him in no time. He'd soon be a "proper" player mind, and injured of course! Of the two clubs involved he's picked the best option, but will have to see how it works out. In the past Wenger hasn't been great with young English players at all and they often end up leaving, though as he's paid this much for him he may well have a chance. Should have went back to saints on loan for rest of the season though.
16. Sadly true, he seems to think any load of complete bullshit can be masked with the words "Geordies" being placed alongside "the best" or "great" etc. He could try the words "Souness" next to "kicked out on his fucking arse" and he'll get an incredibly positive response!
17. He meant tic-tacs. We remain shit at football but have minty-fresh breath and they're only 2 calories! 82103 Indeed, Souness described them as "proper" mints and the best mints he's ever worked with!
18. I'll second that! Also i really wish Big Al was going to break the record in happier and more entertaining times, with the fans in high spirits and not suicidal. When he does it he'll get a fantastic reception no doubt, but it would be even better were the fans not depressed and angry at the match every home game these days!
19. And make them fight each other, but to make it a fair fight first chop off Griffin's hand and poke him in the eye with his new hook...and then it's game on!
20. To be fair, Bridge was always going to stay down south, so I don't think we were ever in the running for him. 82006 Has Bridge or anyone else actually said this? I haven't paid much attention to the deal but am interested to know why (if he hadn't insisted on staying in or near London) we weren't in for a proven premiership and international leftback availale on loan. The again, since it would be a sensible and intelligent move to make, i can see clearly why we wouldn't be making it!
21. We have tactics!!! Seriously though, if he has said anything along those lines, fair play to him and maybe a few more of the players could speak up, though if they did we all know they'd be kicked out by SOuness for being a "cancer" like Bellamy! Its bad enough the "style" of "football" Souness has us playign when its aimed at Big Al, but to pay nearly £10m for a player of Luques type and launch balls up at him while giant centre halves are right up his backside is embrassing.
22. Would have been but for being English, thus he wasn't afforded the credit of a continental or Brazillian player and had to suffer England managers denying him the number of caps he should have had at international level. 81476 Being at the top of his game during the English teams' ban from European club competitions probably didn't help his cause, either... 81488 A good point, would have given more europeans the chance to see how great he was, and would have boosted his reputation.
23. Would have been but for being English, thus he wasn't afforded the credit of a continental or Brazillian player and had to suffer England managers denying him the number of caps he should have had at international level.
24. Because he lets them do what the fuck they like? 81272 Probably something in that!
25. It definitely happened in slow motion, there can be no arguing the fact, as you say, if you were there you know!
