Edit just noticed there are three exmaples... bear with me... A- split pot because they've identical hands two pair 2's and four's plus ace kicker B- Billy wins cos he's got pair of four's with ace, eight, seven to Tony's pair of fours with ace eight six C- Billy wins; he has the best hand, pair of fours, ace high, 9 then 7 tony has pair of fours, ace high, then 9 then 6

thought Carr was a weak link, gave away a couple of stupid freekicks (like Moore) Emre was pick of the bunch, Butt gets praise for doing a boring job well, I thought we got down their wings well but had no-one in the centre to meet the supply. I thought Nobby tailed off dramatically towards the end and would still prefer Milner to him. In the next leg I'd be tempted by this formation ----------------Given -------Taylor Bramble Moore ------------------Butt --------Parker ------- Emre Duff------------------------ N'Zogbia ----------------Ameobi if Parker\Duff and Emre\N'Zogbia can work as hard as they did they can dominate the wings and keep the opposition pegged back in their half. Focus the play through Butt then to Parker or Emre, Then Duff or Zoggy, get the crosses into Aemobi or pull the ball to the eighteen yrd line for one of Parker and Emre, and whichever winger isn't on the ball to have a strike at goal. I really don't rate Carr and Babayaro and while they didn't have nightmares I don't think they really showed me any reason to keep them in the team.

they're mostly trite stuttering shoe-hor-a-song-in-here-tastic piles of crap haven't yet seen a musical that I liked, mind you I've only sat through Grease and Guys and Dolls (had to because our school was performing them... I was Horse in Guys and Dolls and one of the T-Birds in Grease) haven't seen much else, although someone will probably say "You've surely watched X..." oh wait I've watched the old version of the Producers.. does that count?

it's honestly a British trait that we like to moan to eachother but don't like to "make a scene" which is crazy really. I'm as guilty as everyone else, but we've paid for a service, a meal, a car, an hour and yet if something isn't up to scratch (or in the latter case if something begins to scratch) we won't do anything about it because we're so stigmatised into think ing poorly of those people who do complain.

.. mate, it doesn't have an engine... dough heed

depends if it was a deliberate act by me. if I twat a guy in the face and break his nose I don't feel guilty if he deserved it. if I'm being a dick and throw a football aiming for a girls head she turns and I break her nose then I guess I feel guilt and concern simultaeneously

go into a 3 store, explain the problem, tell them you're furious with the customer service you've received and that you want to cancel your contract with them effective immediately. They'll probably apologise, offer you an upgrade or if you're lucky maybe a month or two without the line rental as an apology. If they offer the latter accept it, but put away the money you would have spent on the line rental and at the end of those two months go back in, pay off the line rental for your remaining months. Keep whatever phone you have at the time, go to an Orange store, tell them you're thinking about changing contract from 3 to Orange, ask them what deal they can give you. They'll ask you what kind of package you were on with three, be honest. They'll try and beat that by offering you a better package (if they have one), a better phone when you sign up or money off your next bill when you trade your old phone in. that's what happened with me. I went from £35 a month with 200 texts and 750 minutes, to a thousand texts and a thousand minutes cross peak, cross network for £30. I switched from one of the first 3G models to a good phone, got £50 creditted to my account so my first bill was paid for and some of my next bill.

Leftpeg is a French name? I never knew that. my dads well into Genealogy, bore me shitless to be honest. He says loads of Americans are into it, I suppose it's nice for them to be able to say "I'm half irish, a quarter Italian and a quarter English, just so that they can distance themselves from being American.

got to say that it's my experience that the least integrated people are generally Othordox (for want of a better word) Jew, Christian, Sikh or Muslim. the further they immerse themselves in the more radical parts of their religion the less they integrate into "normal" society. What is noticable to me, is the disproportionate number of Muslim and Sikh men and women who are "Othordox" compared to Jews and Christians. Shariah law is (despitye What Rob intimates) oppressive, brutal and institutionally sexist/racist and homphobic. End of the day, Religion has a lot to answer for on this planet.

not me mate Geordie-nation, one of Freddy's soldiers I'm english because that's the nationality on my passport. I'm saying it's possible to be English and Muslim, which your post suggested was not possible. what about 4th generation Roman Catholics, shouldn't they support Italy?

because Islam is a religion and England is a country and therefore it's possible to support/feel allegiance to both, either or neither?

Tea is brilliant and I'll sink cup after cup after cup throughout the day. never been a fan of coffee. housemate of mine says he can't start the day with a double espresso, he actually has one of those in his room and refuses to do anythign until he';s had his coffee. doss bastard if you ask me. Tea isn't the cure for all that ails you, but there is something soothing about a big mug of tea when something upsetting has happened.

nothing much to add that hasn't already been said. .glad we caught them before anyone was hurt .they've still got a minor victory (the absolute mayhem and reduction of freedom for us pesky infidels) .worried about the inevitable backlash against the wrong people .I'm desperate to see some kind of admonishment from the Muslim Council of Britain.. not a wishy washy press release. But a firm and proud statement distancing the islamic religion from barbaric acts.
