Seeing a lot of this and think it's pretty harsh. Butlands' saves are (rightly imo) getting lots of praise from the magedia, the two 'keepers they had on Goals on Sunday spoke of them in glowing terms. 'Keeping isn't just about finger tip saves from thunderbolts, it's also incredibly important to take up the right positions. The reason a lot of the shots were in his range, is because he maneuvered himself into the right position.

Is Woodman on a full professional contract, or has he simply signed a pre-contract? If it's the former we don't have a senior 'keeper and should be able to take advantage of the emergency loan market.

Something I struggle with; is it an expletive just as we say "Oh my god", a plea like "God helps us" or a curse like "God damn"? I know the translation is "God is great", so is it a surrender of responsibility, a claim that none of this is by our choosing and those planes took off, flew that pattern and dropped those bombs because it was decreed by an interventionist deity? Not being an atheist dick, I'm genuinely curious as to what "Allahu Akbar" actually means to those that say it.

But if we say that NUFC traditionally takes 3 points at home from the midtable clubs and one point away, takes 6 for the bottom clubs and takes nothing from the title challengers, is it not reasonable to look at teams who're likely to to struggle against relegation as fixtures from which we'd anticipate earn 3pts a piece? Sure every season is different and Leicester are a perfect example of a team everyone expected to struggle and are defying those predictions. However, the team's who finish in the top 5 will be the same ones that always do, those that finish in the middle are likely to be the same as usual plus maybe one of the promoted, and the ones at the bottom are likely to be the ones that always struggle, plus 2-3 of the promoted sides. Predicting the league isn't that hard if you allow your self 2 Mavericks and a +/- of a position or two.

Well, it's not exactly a hard & fast rule, but surely you're just substituting the 18-20 placed teams for the three teams who took their place. Three teams who traditionally struggle in their first year in the top flight?

You've not included Watford and Norwich because they're newly promoted, but couldn't you substitute them for the clubs which were newly promoted in that season? Or for the team who were relegated?
