  1. You must have missed all the shit I got for mentioning her earlier. Also, "a lost cause"? In my ne'er do well phase, I did much better than a man with my face has any right to do.
  2. Hardly looked our best centre back when we were in the Championship and we had a much better squad then, than Wolves do now.
  3. Even after upgrading from sharing a 2 bed to being the only ones in a 3 bed we'll be £800 a month better off. I don't know if I can drink £400 worth of beer a month to make up the difference.

Always found him the funnier of the two, but I don't doubt that Jim Moir's the more creative one. Hope he recovers quickly.
  5. We're looking to move away from London next year so we're having a look online for what's available in our budget near Manchester. Tell you what, money stretches a lot farther there than it does here.
  6. That is without a doubt the more depressing thing I've ever read on here. Here, have this on me PNSFW
  7. The Wolves fans seem pleased... http://www.molineuxmix.co.uk/vb/showthread.php?s=6b480076b986512658792a9c2add2d1e&t=95176 poor buggers.
  8. Also suggesting they'd chosen the US before the ballot, but were persuaded to choose Qatar by a world leader (Sarkozy). Doesn't that fly in the face of their own rules about national governments interfering with football?
  9. Downloading it now, TeamViewer is a very useful program...
  10. Hopefully a permanent move will follow shortly.
  11. Yeah, meant that since Keegan we've had highs too, to counter that mackems statement that we've not been any good since Keegan left. Was supposed to say "we're were good under Robson, and we've had high league finishes and a couple of cup finals too."

Parky's got currency on here though.
  13. Gotta record a podcast tonight about this shit Can't even talk about a win for the reserves or owt
  14. That's actually good news, I'm going to have to have a cheap November to cover the daft purchases I made at the end of October

THEN WHERE THE FUCK WERE YOU WHEN I WAS GETTING MOUNTAINOUS PILES OF SHIT FOR IT?!?!
  16. Well I caved and pre-ordered this. Going to get the Beta in a week or so, let me know what you want to look at
  17. Sure it's an unfair taxation, but it's cheap! I'm happy for tampons being tax-exempt, anything that makes that week more bearable for them and thus more bearable for me, is grand. I'd be content with chocolate being tax exempt if the lady produces a freshly painted rag as well.
  18. Yep, I know I keep going back to him, but honestly, Carrick would be perfect. Unlikely he'd swap fighting for the title with Manchester United, for fighting against the drop with us mind
  19. More Carrick than Cabaye, but yeah, essentially. This club, with the players we've currently got, would benefit from a deep lying, defensively capable, playmaker* trouble is, that position is fashionable at the minute so there'd be a premium on any target and it's my opinion that you need a certain degree of maturity to play it well and so because of those two factors, I can't see the moneymen of Newcastle loosening the purse-strings enough to get a quality one. *Regista /Hipster
  20. ... right, so he won't play.
  21. http://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/newcastles-era-of-dominance-is-long-over-and-the-mags-are-in-denial.1152522/ "Newcastle's era of dominance, in terms of football (and soon to come city wise), is firmly over (and has been a long time). It was a dominance that my generation has grew up with, its was a dominance that we have known no difference to. It sailed at its height as we heard all the crap about the "geordie nation", "the entertainers", they flourished in the champions league whilst we struggled away in the championship or got relegated persistently. There was an enormous gulf between the two clubs, and it shown. Newcastle dominated the derbies for an enormous stretch lasting from the early 1990s (despite our odd win here and then, such as the "2-1's") only firmly closing up with their last win in 2011. However, even before their derby luck ended, their so called "superiority" over us long faded away. Despite what they tell us, there is little difference between the two clubs. They are merely clinging onto fading memories in delusions of grandeur. There is no gap. We are both struggling clubs in the premier league who have been hovering over the drop zone for a number of years now. They have not woke up to the realization that those old glory days are long gone, any good result feeds their ego quickly. The Norwich result had convinced them again in their delusions, look at their attitudes after it and in the build up to the derby. Then, the high from that result was shattered so violently in the game against us that its made them spew bile in bitterness. They are not adjusting to their new position well. The following facts also seem to go over their heads too: Sunderland was the last club out of the two to reach a cup final Sunderland is the only one of the two to even feature at "New Wembley" Newcastle was the last club out of the two be relegated Sunderland are still the last out of the two to win a cup Newcastle have not beat us now in 8 attempts Six in a row Steve McClaren's start with Newcastle was their worst since the 1920s- a "poor decision" from the ref doesn't change that. Yet, the delusion lives on. They are better than us? What do they have to show for it? Nothing. Their day in the sun ended years ago. The idiots who say "forever in our shadow", are ironically the ones who are blind to the light. We may continue to struggle this season, but the table and the results don't lie. At the same time, Sunderland as a city is starting to move forwards. In a few years, we will see significant differences- keel square, the new bridge, the bridges expansion, new college, the redevelopment of vaux, the redevelopment of the seafront, the redevelopment of the area around the stadium, etc (well done sunderland city council) Despite our struggles at the club- the tide of history has truly turned. The "regime" of affairs that I grew up with is over. We should enjoy it and continue to laugh at the embarassing twats "
