Elliot isn't Premier League standard and we've no idea how Darlow/Woodman will perform when the chips are down. Maybe if we had better retention of the ball I'd not be so concerned. Also, I don't have confidence in McClaren & Carr's ability to convince TweedleDick and TweedleThumb to part with enough funds to bring in a Premier League standard 'keeper at Xmas, even if it's only on loan. For all Krul's let us down on occasion in the past, he's still 100% a top flight 'keeper and is strides ahead of the others at our club.

How does CT marry his vision of a better life under Tory rule with the fact the key services are being run into the ground/for the benefit of the Tory chums?
