Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team
David Kelly replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
The points about Hughton are all valid and I can't disagree with most of them. But they are all blown out of the window by the fact that it is Pardew coming in to replace him. He's done the job longer and not managed to do any better than Hughton has done so far. He's taken Charlton down (basically two divisions), he took West Ham on their worst losing streak for 70 years (while picking Mullins and Harewood over Mascherano and Tevez for christs sake) and by all accounts lost the dressing room at Southampton (even with a ten point deduction it shouldn't have been difficult to get that club into at least a play off position in league one). He's been sacked on the back of failure at much smaller clubs than this one yet somehow we are expected to buy that he is the man to move us forward. Nothing about this makes football sense. It only makes sense if you look at it from the fat cunts point of view of not wanting to pay anyone decent wages, not wanting to spend on the squad and wanting someone to go along with whatever he says. Pardew deserves no backing because (I for one believe) he's conspired with those cunts to get Hughton the sack and he lacks the qualifications to even maintain our current position let alone move us forward. The sooner he fucks off the better but much the same as with those two cunts in the boardroom, I suspect we're stuck with him while we see our club die on it's arse. Basically the point I was making. The over re-action of not going anymore isnt deserved in this case. We are not replacing KK with Pardew or Sir Bob with Pardew....Its Hughton with Pardew. Im not excited one iota by Pardew but like all other managers, with me he'll get his chance to live or die on his own merits. My point is he has no merits. Souness had merits and you could see a reason to appoint (however misguided it was) him when Robson was sacked but to anyone who cares about this club Pardew offers nothing. There are plenty of managers I wouldn't have been excited by but I with Pardew I am honestly disgusted. He's an appointment of convience for the fat cunt and nothing more. None of this will stop me going, the bitch I married couldn't manage it and the fat cunt won't either but I will be vocal in my digust of what he is putting us through. My point it looks like he's going to be the next manager of Newcastle United and as such, that position should carry some respect. Boo Ashley by all accounts but anyone who boos Pardew on Saturday, aint a proper fan in my eyes. p.s. Hope your missus doesnt read this. Well I'll be happy not to be a propper fan in your eyes mate. The position used to comand respect until it was taken up by this spineless cunt who isn't being brought in to move us forward in any way other than to get the fat cunt his money back. You can't tell me Pardew doen't know why he's here. He maybe a shite manager but he's not a gibbering idiot. p.s I hope the fucking whore is!- 10610 replies

Why dont you explain hysterical comments like that, or the points raised about Hughton. Whether I like it or not, Ashley didnt rate him and Ive already mentioned various reasons why that might be. Pardew MAY improve us over Hughton because..... Ashley has just appointed him, will give him money to spend, will let him bring in coaching staff and an assistant for starters. Whether Pardew is better or worse than Hughton is a debate to be had, but the simple fact that Ashley is going to back him, even if thats in the short term, will benefit the team. Hughton was never going to get that backing. And the chances of me voting for special ed are slim to none. I'm not at all convinced about this. I expect a larger role for Beardsly in the new regieme for a start. He might get a new assistant but I don't expect much more. And as for transfer funds, well we've been waiting for this ever since he took over. If Keegan couldn't get them I can't see anyone getting them.- 10610 replies

How does that work exactly? Usual fucking bullshit tbh. Moronic question: Q. Which club/fans wouldn't want a big name manager (by that meaning a manager with a good reputation/standing in the game)? A. None. Pointless question and point being made Pertinent question: Q. Which fans wanted rid of Hughton? A. None The only reason any of us would expect a big name manager would be because the team is in a pretty decent position. We aren't cut adrift at the bottom of the league and we have shown we can compete with anyone this season. Pardew represents no move forward so why make the change? TBH I think a lot fans (certainly me) would be happier with a lesser name than Pardew if he was someone who was showing some sort of promise as a manager. For me the worst thing about all of this is that Pardew offers the club nothing whatsoever. His only credentials are (much like Wise before him) is that he has a connection to the owner. We all know what's coming now, relegation this season or at best next. No money will be spent on the squad and our best players will fuck off asap. When we go down this time we will stay down. I've never been more depressed as a Newcastle supporter than I am now and I see absolutely no way out.- 10610 replies

Not only will we go down this season but we won't have a hope of coming back up as all of the players who stayed last time won't be stupid enough to do it again. We are propper fucked!

Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team
David Kelly replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
Yes I was right this does feel worse than Souness. We all thought Souness was a bad appointment but he actually had a far better track record than Pardew and, more importantly, he had a chairman at the time who we knew would back him with money to make signings. Pardew is being appointed because he's their mate, he's cheap and he'll be happy to have no money to spend. With Souness you could see logical (if misguided) reasons for his appointment to try and move the club forward. The only reasons here are to Ashley and Labias benefit. This is fucking scandalous. I've always said in past said that every new manager deserves our support while he tries to move the team on but not in this case. Pardew is a fucking lacky of the FCB and nothing more and deserves fuck all from us and will get nothing from me!- 10610 replies

I can't think of one single positive of appointing Pardew, it would be a worse feeling than when Souness was appointed.- 10610 replies

He is doing it on purpose to piss us off. That is the only logical answer now! We need someone else with more experience to take us forward? We're eleventh with a squad barely strengthened at all. Fucking Mourinho or Fergusson would struggle to do any better with what we have!
-
I disagree with this. We were excellent against the scum, Villa and Arsenal and played well against Citeh (we were robbed of at least a point on the day), Chelsea, Wolves, Everton. We didn't actually play badly for the most part against Blackpool and Stoke. The only games where I think we have been pretty abject is Wigan, Blackburn and the last two away games. Compare this to two years ago where we barely looked like we gave a fuck about trying to play decently let alone actually managing it, and I think we're much healthier and we will be ok. Unless we add in January, Caroll stays fit for the rest of the season and Ben Arfa comes back quickly and successfully, we won't do much more than just avoid the drop but I don't think we'll go down.

Elaborate please ! To be honest, he did a lot better last time around in the PL last time. He doesnt look fit to me. Did he? With Bolton? No, with us. He looks a lot worse this season imo. Thought he was shite when we went down and he still is. I dont seem to recall many threads about him being shit last time around. Although I do agree he is sub-standard. Still seems to be below par this year. Maybe not but tbh with all the shit happening around him that season we had more pressing things to talk about. I do remember though at the time I said I was dismayed by the signing of him as it was a backwards step to sign a player of his calibre. The other thing I remember from that season was when we played Liverpool at home and he had an article in etiher the chronicle or the match programme about why he had to leave liverpool and thinking how obvious that was. Because he was nowhere near good enough to get into their team. He shouldn't be anywhere near ours either!
-
Yeah you're right, the defending after his cock up was woeful like.

He was shite last week too Alex. He's supposed to be our creative attackin midfielder in the current system and he never got forward at all. He constantly slowed our attacks when Chelsea were there for the taking. I've just got back from the match today and I don't know how he came across on the telly but I think most people there agreed he was fucking awful (true he certainly wasn't the only one). Personally I hope he never plays for us again, I don't think he has the bottle and I know he hasn't got the ability.

Megamind. Canny enough but not as good as the Incredibles or more recently Despicable Me. Salt. Pretty decent. -
Police urge Newcastle drinkers to wear a coat
David Kelly replied to Happy Face's topic in General Chat
I always find it so uncomfortable in the bars in Newcastle with a coat. Regardless of what it's like outside it's always melting in them. Mind you I've never seemed to be able to find a coat that I like that's thin enough and smart enough for a night out. -
Really like that. Aye thought that was canny. Chez, The New Pornographers new one is another canny effort from them if you haven't heard it. And I've not heard it all yet but I'm enjoying the new Aloha one so far and the Clientele are as reliable as ever. Sun Bronzed Greek Gods is a nice sunny pop EP from Dom too.

Aye belting that like. Only realised he was playing in the first half when they were going on about him not wearing gloves! -
Have you ever seen a player who looks more like he couldn't give a fuck about the team he's playing for than Ballotelli?

Good point and would have taken it any day of the week but can't help but feel they were there for the taking. When we attacked they shit themselves but most of the time we sat far too deep. Ameobi and Guthrie were fucking wank. I think Shola touched the ball about three times the second half and Guthrie seemed to want to keep the ball moving backwards as much as possible. Shola if he's in the mood can be almost unplayable but he's very rarely in that sort of mood. Guthrie's not a premiership player. He's no pace and no strength. Campbell and Taylor both played well but were tired towards the end. I though Simpson was canny too. Tiote, Ricky and Caroll are a class above though and we will do well to hold onto them. It will be a sign of where the board wants to go when the inevitable bids come in. I suspect we all know what to expect though!
