  1. Not saying it would be ideal losing taylor and replacing him with Wilson but I do think he looks like a quality prospect from what I've seen. I'd be happy to see him here tbf.
  2. I love Clerks, Chasing Amy and Dogma. Mallrats definitely has some high spots and I have a soft spot for it but it obviously fell foul of being an attempt to make a Hollywood version of Clerks with some of it being embarassingly cliched. His films after Dogma have fallen off but I've still enjoyed them all (even Jersey Girl has its moments). I've not seen the one with Willis like.
  3. we need a flair player though. bad attitude or not, we're desparately short of pace and guile in attack. We looked alright on Sunday Having said that, I'm worried that the quality of Routledge's and Gutierrez's crossing has got a lot worse since the end of last season. That happens to a lot of players at the start of a new season though, I don't think it's a cause for concern. We do definitely need a quality ball player though.
  4. I'm begining to worry about some of my taste in films recently because I enjoyed this but quite a few people who's opinion I respect think it's gash.
  5. Pirahna 3d. Thoroughly stupid and really enjoyable in a Tremors way. Completely predicatable ending though.
  6. I'm not at all worried about this. We've went there with better teams and been beaten much worse. This will be a hard season but the players look much more up to the battle than last time. It's going to be tough no doubt. But there is hope there.
  7. Unfortunately we just aren't up to their standard of football. Having said that I don't actually think we've done too bad. We should have scored with the best chance of the game and the goals were avoidable but that is the difference at this level. But we aren't playing there every week and we've shown some promising signs for the rest of the season. What this is proving though is our need to sign someone in midfield with pace and the ability to hold onto the ball.
  8. More holes in the plot than Swiss cheese, but a fairly enjoyable couple of hours if you leave your brain in the foyer. And your eyes and ears! There were a few laughs but they were unintentional. And Diaz is starting to look well rough!
  9. Can he play there? I must admit I've heard about this guy for a few years since him and Benzema broke through at Lyon but I've not seen much of him so I don't really know where he plays. Was just reading one of their fan site's report on the Caen game and they called him a 'joker du luxe' Can play central or out wide. Hope so. If yestderdays game proved anything it was that despite the numbers we have there, we are still sadly lacking in the middle from an attacking pov!
  10. Can he play there? I must admit I've heard about this guy for a few years since him and Benzema broke through at Lyon but I've not seen much of him so I don't really know where he plays.
  11. Knight And Day. Fucking awful, would have switched it off had it been on the telly.
  12. Are we thinking he would replace Jonas in the team then? I know his delivery is questionable but for me him and Routledge are our only hope of any creative spark and getting the ball to them seems more of a problem. Whilst I agree this signing would be a boost for us, I'm not sure (if my understanding of the player is correct) if he would give us what we are missing.
  13. Crystal Castles's lateset one. So far it seems much like the last one. Has some fantastic stuff on but some frustratingly mental shite too.
  14. Big tits are an initial attraction but if she's a dog then they're worth nowt. Therefor in the absense of flange I'll have to vote face!
  15. You deserve some credit for still giving it a go despite everyone saying how awful it is! I've had to sit through them all and I would at least say in the defence of the series that the first one is miles worse than the ones that have come after (although they're still school girl shite!).
  16. I agree with this. It spoilt it a bit for me if anything because I find the glasses very uncomfortable. Still a great film though! The A Team. Great fun.
  17. Just listened to High Violet again and it's probably just about overtook Plastic Beach as my favourite of the year now. Internal Tulips - Mislead Into A Field By A Deformed Dear
  18. Why do you inbreds drop your h's. You have by far the wankest accent in any language on any continent, and I mean that. A mackem coming on here trying to take the piss is like Bernard Manning abusing Barry Fry for being a fat cunt. You are mackems, the lowest of the low, your ambitions in life are to be better than geordies and Newcastle, you live in one of the shittest cities in England, 1 in 100 of your lasses is attractive, your best landmark is fuckin Joblings, you're known nationally (people that know yous) as Sunderland near Newcastle, and you're uncouth uneducated tramps. I'm trying to be diplomatic here but it's not possible with you bamps. I tell you something honestly here, and I bet the 300,000 people who live in Sunderland can all relate to this, when you go to bed at night time I refuse to believe you're proud to be mackems, I know for a fact you can't be happy being from Sunderland, and what defines you as people is the jealousy and anger at your superior neighbours 12 miles up the road, it defines you as a city and as people. Brilliant
  19. Flying Lotus - Cosmogramma Not doing it for me like. Too Jazzy for my tastes.
  20. I think people only beleive in a god because they don't want to believe that when they die that's the end of everything. They hope there will be some sort of afterlife despite there being nothing at all to back this up. It's all bollocks to me, you live you die and what you do when you are alive is all there is to it.
  21. We've already got more than enough anyway so it's not even a consideration. yes it is. how many of our english players would you actually want to keep? i wouldn't mind losing a few. and how many would ideally make it into a squad of 25? in an ideal world we'll sign a few more players before the window shuts and then it could be an issue. not saying that will happen mind Don't have to be English to be 'homegrown' do they? In any case even if they did how would a short-term solution solve that given there isn't likely to be wholesale changes at present. Or in other words, you're talking bollocks again. i was under the impression that we were limited to 8 english players now. we currently have 11 senior english players and some kids. i wouldn't mind if we shifted half of them and if we did, we'd be short of the minimum requirement. Krull will have trained here for three years or prior to the age of of 21 so he would count, so we have three keepers for a start. You then have Pearch, Simpson, Taylor, Taylor, Williamson, Smith, Gutherie, Barton, Nolan, Gosling, Gutherie, Routledge, Carroll, Shola, Worst, Ranger. That's 19 with only Ranger and one of the keepers likely to be shipped out on loan. Don't think we have much to worry about on this score because there's no chance of the wholesale changes that would be needed to get rid of the undoubted shite that's included among that lot.
  22. They'll all be out of our league unless we managed to get some sort of first refusal deal when we sold them Given (yes I know there's not a chance of our management being so intellegent!).
