Very liking this first time through. Best thing I've heard this year, which isn't as much as usual since my ipod won't be recongnised by any computers anymore

fucking manc cunts

Should be watching the other side. 6-6 now Motherwell Hibs. Hibs were 6-2 up at one point!
-
Class film. James Remar is brilliant in it. Gonna watch it after the match.

Best Performances in the Champioship this season

aren't they on their 8th manager in two seasons or something daft? most people on this board (myself included) have questioned whether hughton is the man to lead us in the premiership. but giving him the time to see if he can carry the spirit and results into the new season seems a no brainer now. consistency in the backroom staff - or a lack of it in qpr's case - can have a massive impact. True but Alex is right in that they haven't invested a great deal. They could spend £10m and that should comfortably see them up! -
They'd better not the useless manc twat's. I've got money on this!

Film/moving picture show you most recently watched

Aye I saw this yesterday and enjoyed it more than the first one even though I found the battle sequences a bit underwhelming. -
This tbh. I know a Burnley supporter and he was saying the other day how it's absolutely no fun to watch your team getting spanked every week (although I'm sure his tone was very different when they beat Manure early doors!). There's also something to be said for going away to these smaller clubs with propper fans (even if they're small in number) as oppose to the hanger on cunts at places like Old Trafford and The Emirates. One of my favourite memories came on Sunday seeing Carroll's reaction to "He Shoots, he scores, he'll break your fucking jaw. Andy Carroll" when he was warming up I like one we were singin in the pub a few weeks ago pissed. To the tune of Vieira wooooooooooah. Big Carroll woooooooooah, Big Carroll wooooooah, he's over 6ft4, he'll fuckin break ya jaw. Nice one The he's big, he's class, he'll hit you with a glass second verse didn't catch on quite as much on Sunday but I found it amusing!

Best Performances in the Champioship this season

Scunthorpe definitely deserve a mention for staying up despite looking like they should be playing at least two divisions appart from us when we played them up here. They we comfortably the worst team I've ever seen us play who were in the same league as us at the time! -
Aye he came on and did ok. Showed some canny touches and decent pace. Totally missed Rammage getting sent off
-
Flying Scotsman after the match was interesting! Fucking hell I thought we had some shit hole bars up here! It kicked off with West Ham around Kings Cross about sixish apparently!
-
Had a night out in Ilsington before and from what I remember it was a really good night (I was fucked up beyond belief like so tbh anything could have been happening). This is probably the kind of thing we're after. From memory (and as I say I was cattled so it is hazy) there was a good number of bars that were all pretty decent and had a decent enough atmosphere. A few people at work have said Clapham or Camden like.
-
Owt really tbh but my favourite places in the town at the minute are probably Popolo and Baby Lynch. I don't mind poncy places as I do find posing twats amusing but as I say I can't be arsed with anywhere where they want you to book up! Don't want to stop in the the same bar all night so Camden sounds like it might be the best bet.

A few of us are heading down for the match this weekend and are on the piss on Saturday and I want to avoid the fuck ups of previous visits where we've ended up wandering aimlessly or not got in places. Anyone got any suggestions of where to go? I can't be fucked on with getting on guest lists and shite like that so I'd preferably like somewhere with a good amount of bars and clubs we won't have trouble getting in (we won't have toon tops on or shite like that so we should be capable of getting in anywhere you don't have to be a z list celeb). Apparently we're stopping somewhere around Chelsea.

Think Chopra's the only sort surprise there. While none of Dorans, Adam or Nolan are wingers (if you're being picky) they've all scored a lot of goals from midfield and been consistantly praised. Don't know much about that Williams like but Swansea have had a really tight defence.
-
I suspect that is our immediate aim but it shouldn't be. And even with such lowley aims £15m is still trying to do it one the cheap. Par for the course with Ashley though!
-
His passing today was the best it's been in years!
-
V was class man. Well the mini series were at least.
-
Like both of them tbh. The away is a dam sight better than this seasons abortion.

Steven Gerrard doing a John Terry?, But worse?.

Is it possible to do mass pm's? I'm stuck in the house bored on a Saturday night so I wouldn't mind something to read if there's pm's kicking about. -
Newcastle United's Player Of The Season - 2010.

That's ok then Alex, your opinon counts With regards to Nolan's performances over the last two months (and btw is this not backing up part of my argument when you consider his performances prior to that?), do you not think the introduction of Routledge is a major factor here? With him and Jonas both playing we can stretch the play and attack down both flanks (somthing we struggled with when one of Gutherie, Barton or Raylor were playing there). If Smith had been playing alongside Gutherie during this period we may well have seen similar improvements from him. Good point. Routledge was just what we needed in January as Jonas was the only proper wide man (I know there's Pancrate but he's obviously not considered good enough by Hughton - or me). He definitely gave a greater attacking impetus to the side just when we looked like we might get overhauled by West Brom and / or Forest. I don't think Smith would've scored as many goals mind Don't think you would get an argument from Smith's mother about that one! -

Well Percy goes to all the home games, I do as well, don't know about anyone else? Does all of the people who put Jose top of the pops go to the matches? Who knows? Am I right in thinking that as someone doesn't agree with your opinion then in your mind they mustn't go to the games? Because thats how your post looks to me. For me Jose's looked our best player but Nolan's been the most important, the goals which have turned one point into three like Preston away, the goals which have turned games like Sheff Wed or getting last minute winners against Doncaster, they are the games that get points on the board and points make prizes! Would Smithy have scored any of those chances? Would any of our midfielders? Nolan did. Yes he struggled at times, yes he might get the runaround next year, but for all the reasons explained he gets my vote. And thats no slight on Jose either, he's been top notch and his goal will probably be most peoples favourite goal this season. Good thread ending post It's not though is it. Nolans goals have been invaluable and no ones denied that. But comparing them to what Smith or any of our other midfielders may or may not have done is irrelevant since this agrument is between Nolan and Enrique. If you've watched a lot of games this season and you feel Nolan's goals are more deserving of winning the vote than Enrique's performances then fair enough, I dissagree but there's nothing wrong with that. My initial argument was with you CT anyway because you praised Nolan's performances (I think you're pretty much alone on that one) which wouldn't have even had Nolan in the running to win this poll. I'd actually argue Nolan contributed more than just his goals tbf. Also is it fair to ask how we did when Enrique was out the team? Iirc we did alright. As has been pointed out though, I think there's confusion over who was most important/who was best. Enrique comfortably wins the latter category and is now probably our most valuable player in monetary terms. But he still has to prove it in the PL. Personally I was impressed with Ricky in the premiership anyway (especially the second half of last season when I thought he was comfortably our best player in very difficult circumstances) but that's a different discussion. I'd have to take up an argument about what else Nolan has contributed other than his goals (and his leadership both on and off the pitch which I've also already aknowledged). For me his general play is pedestrian beyond belief. He constantly looks like he's running through glue meaning that he's either late or no where to be seen when he's needed to defend and his passing is of a similar standard to Smith. With regards to how we did when Ricky was out of the team, you could level this argument at anyone baring in mind we've only lost four games and the only bad spell we've had all season was around the Scunthorpe/Forrest away time. And the biggest missing players then were both Taylor and Colo. -
