It was the special edition I watched and it was the first time I've seen it. I can't remember the effects looking that bad when I watched the original version. TBF the alien looks good in them but it just doesn't fit in with the surroundings.

Alien 3. Not a patch on the first two (which I watched the last couple of nights) but a lot better than some make. Some of the effects are fucking awfull and bits of the dialogue aren't much better.
