  1. I enjoyed it. It is a really good show and I do find her quite horny.
  2. Rob Lee did make the good point that after every blip we seem to come back with a good result. I'm hoping that if we do have a blip in these next two games or the supposedly easier game after, that we'll quickly bounce back again.
  3. It almost cost us against Villa and certainly did against Bristol. If we'd went into that game with the right attitude we'd be a further two points clear now.
  4. Aye most of the humour is in the first episode or so with Alan Alder but he is good throughout as is Steve Buscemi. I loved the episode with Laurie Metcalfe too.
  5. I think I went a good 2 or three episodes into it not knowing whether I liked it or not. I can't think of anything I've ever watched like it. But I'm glad I stuck with it as I loved it by the end. Inside Number 9 has been excellent again in the first couple of episodes of this third season. Reminds me more and more of Tales Of The Unexpected made in Royston Vasey.
  6. I agree. I fully expect our lot to think Reading will be a walk in the park if we win this though.
  7. The concept of a director of football is interesting. As others have mentioned I can see the possible advantages with it in putting in place a long term strategy and recruiting players based on that. The problem with it is, it leaves the manager as little more than a coach and most good managers won't accept that unless they are going to a club like Barcelona or Madrid. When we tried it we ended up with shite like Pardew. The argument for changing a manager or continuity all depends on the manager. When you have someone like Ferguson or Wenger it's much more worth giving them time than it is if your manager is Pardew who (as well as being generally shite) showed no signs of developing any kind legacy into the club.
  8. I'll go for the 1-0 I meant to pick last game. Sounds like Murphy or Mitro should be back in for this one to capitalise on our ability to score from set pieces (never thought we'd see this as a strength after Pardew) and their weakness in the air.
  9. Fences. A bit of a slog and I don't really know why Washington was Oscar nominated for it. He just plays the same Denzell that he always plays, except this time he's a bit more of a cunt. Mykelti Williamson was much better as his brother was much better.
  10. After some of your previous debacle's on here I wouldn't be too confident of that.
  11. It takes a special kind of pundit to look more of a cunt than either Robbie Savage or Phil Thompson but Merson manages it at a canter.
  12. “He wouldn’t be able to do a job in the Championship,” he told Soccer Saturday. “For how good he is and the reputation he’s got, and he’s great at setting teams up not to lose, he couldn’t manage in the Championship. “He’d have to find a different quality of player than what he’s been working with all his career and look at players who wouldn’t get in any of his teams he’s been manager of.”
  13. I do love how they all think they relegated us and we are all devastated about it. I've never met a single Newcastle supporter considers relegation to be anything other than the fault of the unmotivated team that Rafa took on from the previous three clowns that the useless fat cunt who own the club appointed. But of course they never let facts get in the way of anything.
  14. I agree with most of that. It was obvious to me that Rafa saw playing one of our big lumps against their big lumps from the start wouldn't have done us any good. Gouffran's movement was much better than either Mitro or Murphy could have managed, although I think it's harsh to say that either of those two wouldn't have done the hard work to get the opportunity that Gouffran (poorly) missed. Mitro has certainly been putting a great deal of effort in recently. Against Villa in particular he was sprinting all over the place late on in the game. If we're going to use Gouffran in that way again, one thing he needs to work on is being in the box more though. Too many times we were looking to play the ball in and we didn't have a striker in there. The benefit of having Ritchie and Atsu either side of him did mean that more often than not, one of them were in the box though.
  15. Is there a myth they would walk this league? I assume if there is it's only amongst their ranks. Didn't one of the pundits say the other week that without Defoe they'd be lucky to be a mid table championship team? Thinking Defoe would stay with them if they go down is the biggest denial I've ever heard.
  16. I've seen us win at Barnsley, Leeds and Preston so far so I'm hoping I can continue being a lucky charm for us down there on Saturday night. Thought that was a thoroughly deserved win last night. More of the ball, more corners, more attempts, more attempts on target and more goals. I don't think you can get much more clear than that (especially when their penalty was soft at best). Superb finish by Diame as well. If Messi or Zlatan had done that they would have been replaying it for years.
  17. Gouffran has pace and is a decent finisher. I'm actually with quiff on this one. We'll see how it works but it could be a clever move.
  18. I'm wondering if he's wanting the ball to stick with the wingers.
  19. Not at all but I can't remember another save anything like it. If it had been made by a Liverpool or Man Utd keeper Sky would have been wanking them silly over it for months.
  20. Recovering from and making up for mistakes is an important thing for any player (particularly a keeper) so do it without actually conceding a goal is something I would say deserves credit rather than criticism.
  21. I admit I still have no idea what happened with him letting go of the ball in the first place (at the time I assumed he thought he was going out of the box and let go but the replay doesn't back that up), his handling is usually very good. The save that followed it is one of the most amazing I've ever seen though.
