    Liverpool are one of darlings of English football though. It's well within the realms of possibility that they would take far harsher action against us. But as Alex says, there's no one with any actual knowledge making these claims about what could happen. How can you say what could happen when you know next to nothing about what has allegedly gone on. The only thing that does seem likely is that any investigation would take a fair while (even if it has been going on for a while before it's got to this stage) and it's unlikely that any sanctions could come into place before the start of next season.

    It's ridiculous isn't it. People don't seem to do it on the metro or anywhere else that I can think of. It's like all the fuckwits of the north east flock to the escalators in Fenwicks.

    I do enjoy making a point of making them wait mind. And their look as if you've done something wrong by not waiting for them to get up/down. On a related stair annoyance, fucking morons who get to the top/bottom of the escalator and then stand in the way of everyone else while they work out where they are/need to be. This seems to be a regular occurrence in Fenwicks particularly around Christmas time.

    People who think it's bad luck to cross on the stairs and wait for you to reach the top before they'll walk down. Or even worse they start coming down but move back up to the top when they see someone start walking up.

    The signing of Saivet has to be suspicious. Not much of a surprise this is happening to us and West Ham given the respective owners.

    Start next season in the premier league with a points deduction and Colback starting in midfield trying to get the ball forward to Heardman, What a belta! Ashley has probably orchestrated this so he doesn't have to put his hand in his pocket!

    I don't think a whole new team would do us any good (unless all of a sudden we start buying £30m players) but I agree we need four or five new starters. We can't continue with any of Anita, Colback, Gouffran, Dummett, or Perez or Diame in the number 10 role.

    Vertigo is probably my favourite from NBNW and Dial M For Murder. The Lady Vanishes, Saboteur, Shadow Of A Doubt, Suspicion, Frenzy and Notorious are all excellent (and not mentioned above). Rebecca is the one I can't quite get my head around despite having the fantastic George Sanders in it.

    North By Northwest. Few better ways to spend a Saturday afternoon when there's no match on than going to the Tyneside to see this absolute classic.

    Aye I definitely had the same opinion watching the first episode. From memory the first episode was the most comedic and it get's more serious (and surprisingly horny in the case of one of the episodes) after that.

    Of course he is if he's playing the terminator, Dutch, Doug Quaid, Harry Tasker, Ben Richards or John Matrix. He's not a character actor though.

    Watched Aftermath, Arnie's latest last night. I'd seen in reviews Arnie being talked up as a character actor after this. Fuck knows why, the first twenty minutes or so is some of the worst acting I've ever seen and it's just when he has some of the most simple acting to do. He actually improves quite a bit when he has more dramatic stuff to deal with but I don't really see why anyone would cast him as anything other than a Terminator.

    It's getting enough coverage that it will hopefully have the opposite effect and him give us a dodgy decision in our favour.
