We need to spend big just to keep up with Villa,Spurs,Blackburn etc. I`m sure Villa & Spurs will be splashin the cash over the summer and with Spurs having European football and the lure of London we are going to have to sell the club to most players and with KK not being involved in transfer dealings his passion and vision for the club may not be fully communicated in the transfer process, which is worrying If Mike gives him a budget of say £100m plus whatever he generated from sales of existing players would definately be a step in the right direction, we need quality as well as quantity and £100m, although a lot of money, wont stretch a hell of a long way, nowhere near enough to be competing with Man U & Chelsea although I wouldnt rule out top 4 if Scousers and the Arse struggle a bit We need at least 4 world class players plus 3 or 4 decent back up players but with KK saying he will soldier on and make maybe 2 or 3 signings then top half would be a result considering some of the dross we have at the moment

Beye is a quality defender something we have been lacking over the years especially at RB with that fat knacker Carr playing there. I reckon he would make a decent CB partnership with Faye although his forward runs and passing/crossing would be missed I agree that he was Fattys best buy, its also good to see Barton playing so well, just hope he`s not turning out for the prison team next season

Reckon KK could make Ashton a great striker for us. Would be ideal with Oba & Owen in the 3 prong attack As for defenders I think Faye & Lescott would make a decent partnership, Dunne is a decent CB. I think Enrique & Beye will continue to improve so may only need a utility player who can drop into full back I dont think we are too far away from where we need to be judging on recent performances TBH, just shows Fat Sam and Roeder for what they are really

There are a lot better out there and if we can get a good price for him and KK can bring in a class replacement I wouldnt be that fussed if he did go, If his hearts not in it then performances will suffer and we will need everyone to give 100% next season, KK will expect nothing less and if we want success everyone needs to be focused

I think Harper has been consistant when called upon. He has made some great saves and his kicking is far better then 50p foot Given. He should retain his place until he looses form As for England I would have him above Robinson,Carson and Kirkland. James is knocking on a bit now so maybe he will get a chance if he keeps his place and form his for with us, I hope so

Barton at the moment is not mentally capable of playing professional football as well btw. I admit Barton may not be the best example but to say the rest are past it are not good enough is a poor excuse really It's not a poor excuse, it's the truth iyam.
