A few lessons learned from that shambles, Emre cant play on the left and Zoggy should start. We looked pretty woeful, The defence was shaky, the midfield created very little and Owen & Oba didnt offer much up top, although they were never going to win many areal battles with their centre backs. We looked better when Milner and Zog worked the channels so BS needs to decide which two of our other midfielders will play in the middle, I think Barton needs more games in the reserves to get upto speed as he looked off the pace, Geremi hasnt really performed for a while, Smith is better as a second striker so on that basis I would play Butt & Emre in there although against the better teams we would get exposed but at least we might create a few more chances for the strikers So will BS stick with Cacapa and Faye or has the door opened for Rozy & Taylor next week?

I think his partnership with Owen could be quite productive as long as we dont keep slinging high balls into the box and use the "long pass", They will both have a speed advantage over most defenders, in Oba`s case all defenders. If Emre and Zog can provide the ammunition I can see them being rampant against Reading

Why should he have to make statements to let everyone know he is happy? He is here, he is scoring goals I do think he should sign a new deal with no release clause and that would put an end to any speculation and put the club firmly in control of the situation

I think our first choice defence will be Beye---Cacapa----Enrique plus one from Rozey /Faye/ Taylor depending on the opposition. That said when he came on his was rubbish and I think Macleren will be foolish to start him against Russia at the expense of SWP who played well.
