  1. Of course they are. But e. g. if you want a single or double bed room in hospital you would have to pay yourself - unless it is covered by an insurance.
  2. He can under the same preconditions as Germans can do. Regulations are a bit more strict than British are which does make it more difficult, but that is regardless of your nationality.
  3. Health system in Germany is different as it is traditionally insurance based. But EU foreigners do have the right of health care via the European health card (tourists) or compulsory access to the private or statutory health insurances when they work here. Normally all your costs will be covered unless you want special (and not necessary) treatment. I have never paid a penny extra tbh. There isn't any rule about you having to know the German language. But of course, I guess in most jobs you won't get far without being able to speak German in Germany. But what do you expect? How far do you get in England without being able to speak English? Add to it that in a lot of business and tech companies English is the predominant language even here.
  4. Alexander Lukashenko, Nursultan Nazarbaev and the pope are seething.
  5. "They have done fantastically..." Straight from the McLaren school of post match nonsense.
  6. She is still trying to park the car she bought from her expenses... https://youtu.be/9aJIYlkfneg
  7. I'd post my usual three lols "planning" post again if it was still funny. Incredible stuff from one of the most advanced democracies (allegedly). Maybe you should go back to a straight forward monarchy and let Prince Philip do the negotiations. Can't get worse, can it...
  8. I think the feeling by most is one of bewilderment as the decision doesn't seem to make sense for most people and politicians here. But as the relationship between the UK and the EU was hardly ever a love affair the decision to leave the EU is not seen as the end of the world but rather a split from a often quite difficult and demanding partner. I don't think too many people are too worried for now as it is foremost seen as a very risky decision by the British people who will rather likely suffer from the economical implications. It will probably harm our and other European economies as well but it has to be seen what impact the decision will have. E.g. Frankfurt might gain a lot if banks decide to leave London. The biggest risk is probably that the process of the UK leaving the EU will take too long which would create too much insecurity and instability. That's why most politicians want to get the work done rather sooner than later. But again, a long process will probably harm the British economy much more than ours (if at all). On the other hand it has to be seen what impact the decision will have on the growing euroscepticism we do face here as well. A nosedive in economic fortunes in the UK would probably shut up a couple of people. While the decision probably won't affect me too much personally, I have a few English friends living here who are really worried what the future will hold for them. A lot of them been living here for quite a few years and were settled but don't know what will happen with them, e.g. in case they lose their job.
  9. "Planning" They should put Leazesmag in charge.
  10. Thank god we don't have national referendums any more. Asking people on long term issues doesn't work, regardless if you are for or against a Polish invasion...
  11. The one here in Jormany where police says that it probably isn't a terrorist attack as far as they know?
  12. It's great that they put existing plans to redevelop the training facilities on hold because of relegation worries in previous seasons, only to start doing some necessary work after relegation.., "Planning"
  13. Add to it lies and myths about legislation and jurisdiction. I only caught glimpses of the debate on itv but Boris Johnson again came up with european judges preventing the UK from deporting criminals and terrorists. What he doesn't mention - I am pretty sure he knows it - is that those decisions came from the European Court of human rights, an institution that has nothing to do with the EU and whose decisions the UK will still have to obey unless they will also discard the European Convention of Human rights, which is basically a British idea...
  14. Well done Leicester! Must have been strange for Costa today, for once not being the biggest twat on the pitch ...
  15. For once there is someone involved in a professional football match with less clue about the offside rule than Cissé
  16. He achieved a lot of own goals tbh
