I think they are delaying the foreseeable decision just to make sure all the anger will happen during the summer break and hope that the protests will fade out until the start of next season. They probably will throw in a fake take over story as well.

It’s less than two weeks until the end of the season with Rafa‘s contract running out then. Any club being run normally would have already sorted the future for the club to b able to plan for next season. It certainly isn’t incompetence but those are deliberate actions of cunts.

A decent running of the club would have prevented both relegations and therefore any emergency loans had been futile. The club actually paid double for the total mismanagement tbh.

It’s a typical statement in line with the attempt to prove why decent cup runs are not good for a club. I doubt any players would reject a club because of the facilities anyway but the point is that decent facilities and a visible demonstration of a clubs ambition could persuade reluctant players to sign for a club.

But if you consider the length of Ashley‘s tenure, the fact he changed the stadium name for a considerable time and the amount of advertising not only in the stadium but also on sold clothes and the commercial rights going along with running the club shop I do think that the the lost income could have paid for a good part of the debt or been invested in the playing staff and the facilities. So far the free advertising only paid of for sports direct and it is criminal to me that the exploitation of the club hasn’t been given the fair amount of criticism so far whenever the benevolent nature of Ashley‘s handling of the club has been raised by his stooges in the media.

Still better than to waste money on stupid things like good players, a good manager and needless luxuries like sufficient training facilities.

After the demands he made today it’s pretty certain that Ashley rather appoints Joe Kinnear than giving Rafa a positive answer.

The question crops up every now and then and was also directed at the club at meetings of the fans forum iirc, but the club has never been bothered or been willing to answer it. But as with protests the club is succeeding in just letting everything fade out.
