Who would work with him? He treats his shareholders like shit, treats the fans like shit and treats his staff like shit. I suppose there's a chance of an Ashley / Kemsley dream time. Aye, another 'bonus', following on from what I said about the reputation of the club at present and those in charge, is that Ashley has seemingly built up a terrible name for himself in financial circles as well. I think that's why he was looking for a north-east based business man. He'll only find someone who is willing to invest in "his" club. Not likely the way Ashley treated it. But without third party cash injection I can hardly see how Newcastle will restore its reputation on the field.

Hurra. I expect sooooo much from his looking back at his time at Schalke....

Then I take it all back, the mans obviously a saint who bought us purely to ensure that a national institution and household name didnt die. Sorry for calling you a fat twat Ash..... I'm not saying he is- he's a prime grade cock- but that's the reality of the situation. Underlines his desperation to beg for co-investors last summer, something he should concentrate on after strengthening the first team. The finances look very rotten. It's absolutely shocking that a squad that is as thin as ours creates such an unhealthy wage bill. No wonder the club tries to squeeze every penny (change of telephone numbers) out of people to make money...

Probably a consortium lead by Lörrach Zeitung and Lukas Ramsauer...

He might actually start to play well and it becoming difficult to push him out of the team?

10 didn't he? http://www.gazzetta.it/speciali/2008/calci..._c19_t603.shtml

Utter nonsense tbh. Aye, he's worse. He's a fucking big carthorse who would be an absolute shite signing. I know you have seen him more than me, but the numerous times I've seen him (setanta showed a load of German games) he didn't impress me at all (confirmed by his performances at the euros). Leaving his indeed absolutely shambolic performances at the Euros aside, saying that he didn't impress you in the German league or in European cup games for that matter is just mind boggling tbh.

How someone could get it so right first and then get everything totally wrong is beyond me.

NUFC lie about Lucas Neill approach according to the Hammers
Isegrim replied to Scottish Mag's topic in Newcastle Forum
He's free to talk to clubs about a move in the summer when he isn't contracted to any club any more, but normal rules apply for immidiate transfers, i.e. a club having to purchase the player's registration from another club, don't they? -

Ashley to address fans at end of transfer window

Ah from five new ones with no players leaving, he is already down to two in and one out... -
You know your club is in a bad state when even Louise Taylor writes an apologetic article about Newcastle.

48 hrs. It's like waiting for Godot (or Brett Emerton). -
What difference does it make? The plastics will just buy a different shirt and will have being going to City ''all along'' and suddenly they've ''always been a big club'' . Etc etc. tbf it's a bit like us in the mid 90s when the south was full of people who'd 'suddenly' become Newcastle United fans... Oi, I'm still here.

Giving these stupid speculations some credence for the argument's sake: Do you think the owner would really give a toss about the effects of such kind of clauses in case he wants to get rid of the club?

Italian and Argentinian Internationals to sign on loan...
Isegrim replied to Scottish Mag's topic in Newcastle Forum
Looking at the German league it could be Sosa from Bayern and Zaccardo from Wolfsburg. The first one is an attacking midfield player and has been offered to clubs on loan as he failed to win a place in the team, the latter is a right back and has been a total flop since his move last summer. -

What's the odds the deals fall through as always... -
Tbf to N'Zogbia, if I were him I'd look for a move too. It's about ambition. If he stays at Newcastle where his career isn't progressing at all he can start looking for good crepes recipes...
