There are probably about 200 better beers tbh... I like them. What do you reckon are better? I especially suggest Augustiner (though, that's even in Germany difficult to get outside of Munich), Andechser, Jever, Tannenzäpfle, Hasseröder, from the biger ones even Becks and Krombacher and a lot from smaller breweries.

I think he gets too much stick. He's doing a necessary job here which is to stay in the Premiership and not spend any money as far as I can tell Believe me, I miss the glory days of Keegan and Robson as much as anyone, but the club fucked up big time with Souness and we can't spend our way out of trouble. I stick up for Roeder because I think he's exactly the right man for the job....low profile, sensible and decent. Whether or not he can build something remains to be seen. The question was more about whether or not he could juggle his limited resources better. Making £2m on a player when we're short in other areas seems like a reasonable option that's all. Talking utter shite to the press and having to eat his own words numerous times is neither a low profile nor sensible imho. And if you think it is sensible first to buy players for positions that didn't need strengthening and then to sell them on a couple of months later because you run out of money, fair enough...

Might have something to do with the Danish league having a break until March since last November... ... and the US league having been on Break since October? Edit: October, not September. Sorry Touché I'd still rather judge a player by the performances in his league or especially in the Championsleague than in a meaningless friendly in the mid of the winter break.

If Anal O. is right about this list then it rather demonstates the lack of professionalism of running the football club. If there really were names like Crouch, Bent, Bale et al who in the majority have 8m+ price tags to their name then it is foolishness of the highest order if you discover in January that you were building castles in the air. There should have been a constantly revised from the last summer transfer fiasco. Now making the same mistakes again is just mind-boggling.

I actually don't know too much about him. I think he only ever came on as a sub for the first team and then only for very few minutes. There probably wasn't any competition or big reluctance in signing/selling him.
