It was stupid. A red card was harsh, but a fraction of second later and the Stevenage player could easily have been looking for a new a career. After the huge fuss that was made about De Jong’s tackle (he got the ball too) on Ben Arfa any complaints about Titoe’s sending off are on weak ground. No doubt the hypocrisy on Nobs Online will be breathtaking. Either you've not played the game OR your talking shit... Im a CM and that there was a legendary tackle...he didnt go over the ball, wasnt two footed nor was it studs up....it looked reckless because the angle he went into the tackle but for the technique of tackling that was 100%. Nothing wrong in it at all. Your opinion is pish. Obviously not a very good one. What position do you play then? Goalkeeper? Seriously fella........that was a good tackle and i dont see how its otherwise. Perhaps at the level of football you play, or fifteen years ago in the professional game. Today though it was the kind of challenge that gives the referee the option of waving red. Personally I preferred the more robust version of the game but nowadays any lunge, no matter how well timed, is a potential red card. It was a stupid challenge; the best CM’s in the family friendly version of football don’t go to ground unless there’s is no other option. They anticipate and think. They weigh up the pros and cons and make intelligent decisions. In this instance they probably would have looked to cover the space the lad was running into, not jump in with all guns blazing. Tiote is a hothead, as his booking per game ratio shows. Good player, but it was only a matter of time before he got sent off. First bold....Dont patronise me...football is football whatever the level... Second bold...Aye i agree in essence...the modern game or should i say the modern governing body doesnt like these decisions because they are just that...decisions...and hard ones at that. But this is something that should be addressed. Any self respecting FOOTBALL fan knows how the game used to be played, how it still SHOULD be played and that THAT was a perfect tackle! Third bold...You backtracking and agreeing with me then? With respect, your opinion of a modern CM dropping off into the space, reading the game differently is also pish....when your 2 foot from a guy and have the chance to win the ball...you win the ball...simples. I really cant see where your coming from here....i like you are a newcastle fan but come on mate....look at it again...and again...and again until your brain clicks and you see that your actually talking shite.......want bet that the red card is recinded????

Lets start from the top. This always was gonna be a case of fate adjusting the balance. We robbed them 13 years ago, now they've done us...the aim was to not let that happen. Pardew, and im a fan, got this wrong. He put out a very strong team but that wasnt enough to beat these. Although on paper we should of anhialated them. We got dragged down to League 2 football and lets be honest we were battered. Battered. They battered us. Battered. Never did we look like putting the foot on the ball and saying "We a from the premier league" Not once. Barton on the left...wrong...Routledge is quick and has a shite final ball so really made more sense letting him run with it down the left and letting Barton do what he's done well so far on the right. We never created anything, second to every second ball...panicked and got done. Credit to Stevenage though, they really outdone themselves tonight so fair play to them. Referee is a complete wanker...Tiotes tackle is one of the best iv seen in years and that really disabled us to push on but once again lets be honest...our shit play had let to us already being 2-0 down. Summary...we were shit...stevenage were good...pardew gpt it wrong and the players werent game....Fate took its course? Probably. Its over and done with...aye im pissed off but lets not dwell on this too much before them mackems...in fact lest take it out on the mackems and concetrate on finishing 7th.

Looks a good player but whats his best position? Upfront or attacking CM? Id think we would be signing him as a striker. Looks like he's going to monaco anyway.

You know...some mite say FMA is actually doing the right thing for the club. Ben Arfa on a permanent contract. Taylor and Carroll on new 5 year deals. Vuckic on new long term deal fending off interest from top class european clubs. I hate FMA as much as the next man but it has to be said...at the moment he is doing exactly what he should be for our club. There is still time for the doom mongers to be proven right but i just dont see us selling our best players (Carroll + Barton) and taking a step back.....i genuinly think we are making good strides forward.

According to the radio up here in Glasgow its 600k increasing to 700k tops. Thing is...Rangers as a club have no control over this at all....because david murray has royally done them over the bank has now told them that they NEED to accept the bid. Money for a 32 year old who will leave for nothing in 5 months time. Sad...or funny thing actually is that Rangers are fucked without Kenny Millers goals. Poor state of affairs over at Ibrox. Miller is shit btw.

3 days full body and 3 days HIIT should see you dead FYP Thats just an obsene training plan for even the fittest. Or maybe it was sarcasm....Is J2J a fat cunt?
-
Personally id go with... ---Krul--- ---Perch---Willo---Kadar---Tavernier--- ---Routledge---Vuckic---Guthrie---Ferguson--- ----Best---Lovenkrands--- That team is more than capable of beating Stevenage Fuckin Borough.

Sometimes clubs agree to share the wages. I know that but this isnt FM and FMA is the owner remember. No but it happens, see above. I know it happens stevie....but do you seriously think FMA would sanction a % of the wages for someone whos not gonna be on our squad list? He's on 60's and has 18 month left, that's what £4m in wages for someone who contributes fuck all to the cause and none of the fans like, well the odd exception. So £4m, if Leeds agreed to pay 2/3rds of that Ashley is saving £2.6m on a player 1% of fans would like to remain here. As a business decision I can see why it's attractive. If Smith had any honour about him he'd just leave on a free and not ask us to bump up his money if he's somewhere like Leeds. He is fully entitled to do it, but any proper person especially one as shit as him who has given us NOTHING, would just fuck off. When you put it like thatit makes sense aye. Saving money rather than making money. Good move but i doubt he will leave.

Rather have Seba Larsson tbh. Linked today.
-
Would make sense to tell him go but no-one will pay his wages so he like shola and the other shit on our books are here till the end of their contracts. Would be very suprised if he left. Suprised but delighted.

Well i think your wrong about this and wrong about the way he deals with the media. Personally i like the way he works the media, he has more of a presence than CH and i generally like what he says. Yes the squad was assembled by CH no argument but i think the way he's lined us up, our shape, mentality and movement is definitely better than of the CH team. Iv noticed a difference and im sure alot others have too.
-
I dont think so....is a possibility but if it was gonna happen id imagine it would of been advertised by now. Still...im on virgin media and dont get red buttonedge so makes not difference to me.
-
Its not.

I actually think Best and Carroll can do well together.
-
and exhale Made me laugh tbf....deadman is braindead I speaked better england that he ever used to could.
-
I think he will sign thmora on a loan deal, maybe even permanently for maybe 4mil? But would FMA stump up after the barfa deal? Would definitley add to our already impressive midfield! Gutierrez---Tiote---Barton---Bentley Probably will see Nolan and Carroll as our 1st choice partnership upfront.

You make a fair point sweeney but im not saying we will.....my pre season prediction was 13th. Im just an optimist and prefer to look forward rather than back. We are in a position where we HAVE a GOOD CHANCE and finishing 7th. The PL has been very inconsistent and it is at its tightest for years, we could go the oher way with a few more defeats but we have just as good a chance to push on from here. Im just a positive guy.
-
Villa might get relegated mate and Liv won;t finish in the top 10. Well that only increases our chances then no? Last year Liverpool finished 7th on 63 points...look through our remaining fixtures i reckon we could finish on about 57...which was enough to finished 7th the year we went down. Sunderland A DRAW Spurs H WIN Fulham A DRAW Arsenal H LOSE Blackburn A DRAW Birmingham A DRAW Bolton H WIN Everton H WIN Stoke A WIN Wolves H WIN Villa A DRAW Man Utd H LOSE Blackpool A WIN Liverpool A LOSE Birmingham H WIN Chelsea A LOSE WBA H WIN The bit in bold is the top 7 finishing form, form we are well capable of. You could even throw another loss or 2 in there and still probably finish 7th.

11th...they'll fall away.
