On the post stuff, Im just about to swap from Lightroom to CS5 so I'll be doing a lot more on that. As you know I've shied away from doing much post processing until I was happy with what I was doing in camera. Well now Im pushing more on the post side. The pirate image was actually in my sitting room. The light is from the window. Got him to stand next to it to light up one side of his face etc. I've actually found a studio I'm starting to use and I have a couple of models from MM booked so I'm also hoping to get more done on that side. That about £20 per hour though. I know you are pushing the wedding/couples side of things (where the money is!) though at the moment I'm more into alternative shoots though tbf, I need anything to build up my portfolio so the ones I have booked are pretty standard. So yeah would be good to do some joint stuff as well in or out of the studio. The one Im using also do model nights where they bring in 3-4 models and 3-4 togs.

I imported my iPad from someone I knew in the US. Basically you can get the items quicker if the release date is much later in the UK like they were, but on cost its not that different. Sure I send him money that saved me about £100 but I had a tax bill from the courier of around £80 before they would release it.

Sorry I had to share it though. I can't fucking stand the bint to start with and this has just added to that somewhat and I don't really know why.. Exactly my pov. Never liked her and thats just horrific.

Some good shots there. Prefer the mono ones Good location as well. I do loads of shooting around Gibside (not far from where I live plus Im in National Trust so makes sense). Actually have a set to process from there from last weekend (just me and the youngest again). Second last shot would be my pick.

Ok, a break away from pics of the bairn. This was from the weekend. Had an opportunity to take some shots within an industrial park thats due to be flattened. though, Id say good luck with that, the place is a complete dump with no idea what chemicals spilled all over.

Completely agree with that. I do loads of pics of the kids and Ill ask wor lass what she thinks of a picture and she sees stuff totally differently. I've missed all sorts at times as Ive spent so long staring at it like you say.

Yeah definately... I've started giving people 2 versions of some pics, one colour and one black and white because I can't quite decide which is better, and although I prefer one version know others might prefer the opposite. I done just that last week myself

I dont use public transport much, this kinda reinforces why. On the metro yesterday. Now, some of you who use the metro often will likely know this bloke. I got the metro from Sunderland (Pallion) where I was doing some photography stuff at an run down industrial park that is going to be knocked down next year. Anyway, on gets this bloke. Baring in mind it had been hoying it down all afternoon. Sunglasses, long dark coat, swept back black hair and black beard. He paced up and down the metro, well more like marched in this really bizarre swagger type of walk. Now and again he stopped to look at himself in the window. Then, he took his glasses off and he had panda eyes like 1" eye liner! Absolute freak! Now, Im usually very open minded and accept people in a each to their own kind of way. But this bloke was clearly touched. How he's not in a metal home I dont know. He sat constantly squeezing some putty stuff as well. Stevies "Wrong Un" alarm would have fucking exploded

Absolutely horrid things. My mother had one of these called Thor. I swear it knew when I was coming to stay as it would sleep on the bed I was going to use the night before. They shed hair constantly and I used to wake up with cat hair in my mouth, nose and everywhere. Horrible stuff. All it had to to was be in the same room as me and Id instantly have cat hair all over my legs. Evil things as Alex says.
