Love my coffee but Im trying to cut down and only have maybe 2 a day now. Coffee usually my first two cups in a day. After that I do like Green Tea. At the min the box on my desk is Green Tea, Lemongrass & Ginger. Quite partial to Earl Grey as well.
  2. He was a little shit, but he was our little shit. I'd have him back in a heartbeat and think he is everything we are missing atm. Plus, I think with him in the side and not Owen we'd have stayed up.
  3. You're close but its the other way around, your mind wakes up before your body. When you sleep your brain sends signals to your body to paralyse it so you dont act out your dreams... when you wake up it should reconnect at the same time, however with sleep paralysis it doesnt do this immediately and thats when the "fun" starts. Not sure what causes this though. Do you dabble in any kind of drugs? I used to time this to perfection. If I had been out Friday and Sat night, hardly slept (if I had at all) until Sunday day time / night then I would usually get this on Tuesday night. I was shit scared at first until I started experimenting. When it happened and I had that feeling of someone coming in the room behind me, but I couldnt move. I started to listen to see if I could hear anything and rather than fight it, I'd just run with it and see what happened. Was interesting in the end. Started hearing voices of people I knew and it sounded muffled as if they were in the next room. Caused by lack of sleep imo also.
  4. Wise words. Well done Kevin, you broke my Ignore Virginity after however many years I've been here.
  5. Let them. Id make it 10% personally but as now Rooney gets (supposedly) 200K p/w and the local community gets zero. By what you say they would up his salary to allow for the tax, he would get say 220k with 22k of that going into the community each week. The only one that loses out there is the club. So be it Id say.
  6. Nice one CT, congrats to you both.
  7. Laughs aside he's bang on imo. The money earned in top level football is obscene given what they actually do (off and on the pitch). Nobody's forcing anyone to pay Rooney that much, nor would not paying him that much suddenly end unemployment. He's worked his arse off to be good enough, he's earned the right to be paid whatever he can get. However, I don't disagree that the imbalance in society needs to be addressed. The minimum wage has to be WAY higher than what you'd get on benefits and those benefits should have to be earned by doing things for the community. Or how about they put a community tax on footballers earning over a certain level where a % of their tax goes back into the local community. Its not about the money after all Dont get me wrong, if someone offered my £200k or £50k p/w Im bite their fucking hand off. Doesnt mean its not fucked up. I also agree that those getting benefit largely should do something for it, but thats another thread.

Aye. The longer the exposure the longer you let light through the lens. Sorry, didn't mean it as a question, more of a suggestion. Oh I done loads of tweaking for this shot. Took around 30 or so images at different settings. differrent exposures, ISO levels, f stops and so on. the issue wasnt so much light, which is there is a bundle of coming from the moon, but clarity/focus. I think two things might improve what I can capture of the moon. I know I need a new tripod. Im using a trekpod which has a very low centre of gravity. this means its not 100% sturdy. So Im hoping to pick up a decent manfrotto or something. Next I guess would be the lens. If I could maybe get extension rings (which Id quite like anyway) I could get approx another 1.5 magnification. I could then get the same size image, but have not zoomed in as much. When I look on Flickr, some of the best shots of the moon have used like 1500mm!
  10. Solid aint he. Nowt fancy but no messing. Cracking purchase.
  11. See he doesnt really wind me up. I just find I skip past his posts. I dont find he really brings anything to any conversations. In many threads you will notice he posts the odd random thing trying to be funny / attract attention but more and more people (like me) just dont bother. He seems a bit desperate tbf. But, each to their own. If thats how he gets his kicks

The moon is a tricky subject at the best of times. But, I thought during my recent holiday I had a couple of perfect chances to try and capture it. It was a completely clear night and as I was in the middle of nowhere (well, Sherwood Forest), there was little or no light pollution. The first thing I knew was that I needed to get the camera as steady as I possibly could. These were the steps I took for that part : * Tripod - Essential of course. For this I use a trekpod pro and to be fair isnt the best for this. Good for walking but not the sturdiest as it has a low centre of gravity. This I think was one problem * Remote release - I use a Nikon wireless remote. Pressing the shutter causes movement so this was eliminated * Mirror lock up - option within the camera. The mirror can cause a small amount of vibration. Very tiny, but it all counts * VR off - VR is Nikon's vibration reduction. Good for handheld but has a counter effect if used on a tripod. So that was that. The lens had to be my telephoto which is the Nikkor 300mm. This gives a focal length of 450mm. The main settings of the camera for the partial shot were then: * Exposure 1/25 (0.04 sec) * Aperture f/11 * ISO 100 * Spot Metering I did make some changed when I took the photo of the full moon and these were: * Exposure 1/250 (0.004 sec) * Aperture f/14 * ISO 200 * Spot Metering Other than that, I focussed using auto focus and then switched the focus to manual. I did recheck this from time to time. Other than that, it was just a case of tweeking setting in between shots before I came up with these. The tripod did wobble some (see above) and it meant looking in the viewfinder until it was steady before firing the remote. While these are my best attempts to date. I'm not totally satisfied. I want more detail and I think there is blur here. Question is, where did I go wrong? Or what else could I have done?
  14. Is it new story/character or can you continue as you were with it following the story on?
  15. Thought Id post this. Its my accountants update on the recent review,
  16. Should listen then shouldn't they "never walk alone" ffs
  17. Like said, a long time since he was last here plus much different circumstance. I'd certainly welcome him here.

Dyer could be awesome when in form. Some if his link up play with nobby was fantastic. But prob one if his best games was against Southampton. Might have been a cup game, cant recall. Huge let down at times though.

    Shocking

As I've previously said (and demonstrated ) I have little knowledge on the subject. So at times can find the posts from OTP, HF & KSA interesting. Just a shame the latter uses his knowledge on the subject to come across as an absolute arse
  20. As alex suggests, it usually takes a spark in a game to get the crowd going. A strong tackle, good shot on goal, something that shows the side are committed. At the moment there are not many sparks. I'd not put myself in the doom mongers camp, but things are increasingly stacking against us and we need to start improving our ratio or we will be in the bottom 3 by Xmas and that will have a massive knock on confidence. Players and fans.
  21. Sick of posting from my phone as well
  22. So your argument is basically the rich can afford to get away with it, lets fuck over the poor people. Its times like this I wish I was French (almost) If people claiming benefit could afford the accountancy fees a wealthier person does they would likely claim alot more than they do. Accountants know the loop holes and those who need exploit them. Not so different I guess one end of the scale to the other. Something needs to be done though and if that stopping the benefit cheat so be it. I said the rich will get away with it, I didn't say it was right.

    Shocking

I'd not once suggest I'd know off the top of my head the year either did. I'd have to google to check. Does that mean I shouldn't have a point of view? Is your little world one where someone can only discuss or have a view on a subject they know every tiny detail about? Pretty sad if so. See I encourage debate no matter someones knowledge on a given subject. They still have a view based on whatever their understanding is. You on the other hand, come across, well.. Just read your previous post to see.

    Shocking

We live in a civil society yet many are unable to hold a conversation without resorting to posting like a bitch and picking holes in someones point because they have not read chapter and verse of a subjects history. Rather than that, why not try to pick up on the point being made? Would never catch on ofc.
