  1. Prob best holiday I've had in Europe is Rhodes. Fantastic place. The food, the scenery, the ambiance etc. Loved it. We stayed just outside the old town. Id go back there inm a flash (without the kids anyway )
  2. Prob Centre Parcs at Easter, camping in the lakes late summer and Centre Parcs again late summer. Might try and escape for a weekend kid-less to recharge later in the year as well.

Ok, so I reinstalled my PC. Ive installed itunes 9 and updated it from my account to included the stuff Ive purchased. Now I want to sync it with my Phone. However, I dont, much to the disbelief of ITunes fucking 9, want it to erase my whole phone (and so photo's, notes, emails, sms's) before doing so as these are not on my iTunes. All I want to do is sync music, podcasts and apps. Any idea's before I go kick seven kinds of shite out of a snowman?

    Isnt that year round?
  11. I dont see how we can ever believe a single word uttered out of the club following their own admission of repeated lies for PR. How sad is that?

Not sure about his chin like...
  13. Exactly LM. The no of points you go up my is meaningless. You think the premiership will be impressed with that? I'd rather go up quietly and get about re-building. Then again, when do NUFC do anything quietly? But no, we wont break the tonne in points.
  14. I dont think it is about rage against the machine and joe mcelderry, for me it is about free thinking music against simon cowell's monopoly of our charts through HIS bullying and HIS views of how music should be produced. I do agree in a way, but then not Cowell produces music for the screaming masses. Its pop music as its always been and will be. In a way I'd like to say its not for the true music lover, but then who am I to judge? What makes my preference in music any more worthwhile than that of the 15yr old X-Factor watcher who likes "pop". I couldnt help but give a wry smile when I found out. that said, I think the lad from X-Factor seems decent enough and I wish him well, I personally think he'll do well on stage rather than in the charts. Ho hum.
  15. Isnt the point being proved by getting Rage to no 1 only cementing the fact that the charts are shite and mean fuck all? XFactor would only have got to no 1 by using a collective force organised to do such. IE X-Factor fans. How many people who do not watch the show do you think would have actually bought the song for its musical quality? Same as Rage. Not to say its not a good track, but all that is happened is that one collective has prevented another getting to no 1. Those whole thing it shrouded in irony imo. As you might tell, I dont care for the charts. Ive never been one to think it was a mark of quality, or even popularity. People buying multiple versions of a single to enhance its status?

Ok now its a bit mental. "Just" manged to get home after some creative driving/skiing. I live in a valley so coming downhill is always an adventure! Not sure about getting back up like, hope it clears before the morra.
  20. Completely agree. You earn money you pay tax. You spend that taxed money and guess what? yep, you pay tax again (VAT). Then maybe you buy a house and they sting you for stamp duty. Then the value of the house goes up (as does the one you are now looking at) if you sell "soon" you may get taxed on that increase in value, oh aye plus stamp duty again. Then you die and before you get in the grave and your family are dividing up your estate, the taxman is there again at the front of the queue, just because he feels like part of your family now, afterall, you've given him more money than anyone else. Ish anyway.
