Went to see the Golden Compass last night. I enjoyed it aye, canny film. Though it did feel like it ended somewhat abruptly. Im not familiar with the books but by all accounts it should have felt (or could have) darker if going by the books. Lined up for a sequel probably. Still worth seeing though if you like that kinda thing.

Another awful performance, but its a result. Birmingham wasnt the best performance (esp the second half) but again a win. Winning gains you confidence and I hope thats whats happening. Then again, you do get the feeling its just papering cracks. Again.

Just out of interest - how long would it take to christen all those bogs? a fortnight? 3 weeks? Dunno, I suppose the standing wipers could do it while walking (like a cowboy), while us sitter shitters would take longer.

Well, from Arsenal Id say we played more football. I vast improvement over previous games. Before then was some games when we constantly hoofed the ball. Hopefully the change is here to stay.

Was pondering over this when having my early morning ritual. You know sometimes when you nip one off and wipe you just ready yourself to flush and realise you have a straggler. So, you relax again and hurry along the final push and then rewipe. Those of you who stand and wipe must be must be all over the place. Also, if you stand, how to you stop your butt cheeks closing together causing some overspill? Or is the stand stance more as if there was an imaginary horse under you? Far easier and less hazardous to just raise a cheek like.

Not that clear to me either that like. I can see 26-- ?? -- 45 - 8 - 56 - 20 but the last 3 are a real struggle to make out.

Im 50/50. I dont have a problem with R/G etc. Only the occasional shade (like dark blue to black). The really odd one for me is the sky at night. Sometimes at dusk the sky looks a pea green colour and I get told its pink. but Ive never known it any different. Never actually found that out unti lI was about 10-12. I dont have a problem with major colours though. Despite that I was stopped being an electrical engineer in the TA. Fair enough like. Its never caused me a problem though, only bemusement.

Id have Butt as the captain tbh. As for other central m/f. Not that impressive but Id start Emre ahead of barton or geremi.

Personally, I think we need a decent midfielder to sit alongside Butt. Would never happen though with Barton/Emre being here. Maybe Im being too harsh on Barton and he needs time to get fit. I also think the RM needs sorting but I also think we already have the players to do that with Duff coming back and Milner.

After seeing that car/deer photo, Id hate to be a car valet person.

Well, just got back and Im off out so a quick summary (summary? its the middle of fecking winter oot there!) It was cold n wet n windy Milner had a good game Geremi made us imbalanced, playing RM but getting sucked inside mostly Barton was shite, again We looked shakey defending set pieces Brrrrr Overall, poor game, very average performance but 3pts. Just. (this said, we had a great period for the last 15min of the 1st half, downhill second half).

There are a few in there that either wont record scores or just wont start.
