Freddy...if you're reading...do the decent thing and sell up...

Strange how he has went on and on and on about him being a fan and wanting the best for the club. Talk is cheap eh. Now, from a business sense, I could understand him wanting more cash perhaps. Facts are though, if this club meant anything to him he would sign on te dotted line. He knows he will be off the board if Ashely wants him to be once he gets the 51%. so why cause problems other than to line his gold plated pockets? (courtesy of NUFC as ever). -
To make that a little clearer. Get me calculator out.... Ashley spent £55M on 55,000,000 shares (£1 per share) and this valued the club then at £133M meaning there are 133,000,000 shares in the club. So 392,715 shares (/133M) would be 0.295% Of course, we dont know who bought these shares.... ish

Aye well done indeed Passed mine about 15 years ago after doing a weeks intensive course. No theory then like. Do about 40000 miles a year now like....
-
Id still like to hear from the guy and what his intentions are. Just being a tad cautious at the moment. Maybe we'll hear more if/when he does find his other 10%
-
Well, indeed. Better the devil you know is often a true saying. Time will tell. Still, we all shouted for change long enough. Perhaps a true new era is beginning. Good or bad who knows...
-
So of that 28% floating around, he needs 9% of it to agree to sell. Sure thing really.
-
51% does indeed get him overall control as majority shareholder. Mind you, FS isnt majority now yet he is in place as chairman. But essentially it will be up to Ashley who runs the club from that perspective. No I wont post it twice...
-
On a side note, while this share thing rumbles on, arent we meant to stop any trading? and so not act on transfers for the time being? Or doesnt this effect that?
-
Can someone post and tell them he's got shares in Adidas, I'm banned I just wish someone connect to NUFc would buy the rights to air or water... (not that they use water much like)
-
I think thats old. That the £55M purchase he made, then by rules he has to make the same offer to the rest of the shareholders. So, he buys 41% for £55M or £1.00 per share and then has to offer the same for the other £59% or £78M at that price. So I assume thats why they say he has launched a £133M offer.
-
I reckon that Ashley will easily get the 51% to take overall control and as you say Gem, I cant see FS wanting to hang around and be told what to do. He'd prob sell up making a cool profit at the same time.
-
Well, my understanding of this is that if FS wants, he can sit on his shares (around 30% I think) and even if this guy bought the rest (70% ish) it wouldnt enable him to force Fs to sell up. Questions would be, would FS want to take a back seat under the rule of this guy? would this guy run the club himself or get someone else to run it and if so, would this be FS or someone else? This is of course in te assumption that he manages to scrape together another 10% of shares, which I fully expect.

How smug do you look? tbh

Wouldnt suprise me to see us using something similar as you say.

Thats pretty much how bolton played though. More like a 4-3-3 with a target man being supported by two forwards.

QFT Fair enough in the car while driving. But while in the pub/shop/street/house/bed or whatever is just twatful.

I think we knew all were definately on their way out apart from Bramble. He was suspected to be but would have been easy for Sam to give him a 1yr deal to try him out. Thankfully he didnt.

This is a good start. Of course they are the easy ones, out of contract. Still, a good saving on wages and getting rid of dead wood. On Titus, never been good enough, some flashes at times but over all kept slipping back with his head in the clouds.

Who, me or the wife Aye, you're prob right though

Not to mention Robson coming close to winning the league...

Its sick. Absolutely sick. What kicks these scum get or what reasoning they come to is beyond me. People should have licences for all pets really, not just those deemed as dangerous.
