One problem with some full backs in tackling is their tendancy to go down while tackling, as in slide in etc. Biggest problem there is you take yourself out of the game. Dyer has pace and providing he stays on his feet, could be an interesting option at RB. Going forward he could certainly be an asset. Coming back he needs to be tought about position more than tackling. It would be interesting for us to have options at the back like that. For away from home when you want to be more defensive, you have him on the bench with a defensive RB starting, but at home if you want to be more offensive you swap to Dyer. As someone said, his versatility is a good thing. (yeah ma, I can run in left circles AND right!). Dyer could be a cracking player if he could put his pace to good use. Im currently bordering on had too many chances / give him one more chance.

I was upt' hills at the weekend and passed a canny spot. Up towards Wooler to the Breamish Valley (Cheviots). There is a river runs down the valley and was a few people sticking tents up around there. Takes under an hour to get there. Or Planky Mill just watch out for the pit bulls (not the dogs, but the other end of the lead usually )

What is good about it is that the first bunch that you mention were all pretty much dead wood. Replacing these with first team players will give us a much stronger squad.

Out problem has been money has not been spent wisely. Look at the spending of Liverpool and Arsenal and where they are compared to us. Is 100M enough? well, Id hope that was on top of revenue generated by the club now, otherwise thats £20M per season which is what we'd expect now. Depends how its structured etc. Maybe some now and more if we got into Europe etc. So, not so much is it enough, but more would it be used well.

Laptops also usually have a output button on one of the funtion keys that looks like two screens. That enables you to have the display on the Laptop / Output Screen or both. Also might have to press the F key plus ctrl or something. Assuming the connections are correct that is. You'd also need the TV on the right channel (input). (though I think this is also what Rikko was saying).

Im not sure. I think taht Owen wants european football, which is understandable. Perhaps he has said he will see what action the club take? After talking to Sam that is. New manager, new chairman (probably), new signings and after being out for most of the year. I reckon he will give the club one more season and see where we go. As for the rest of them, we just dont know. Sams meant to have spoken to them, but Sam is on holiday now so not alot is happening. Freddy is in hospital we are told so he wont be doing much and Ashley I assume is waiting until he gets his 51% before doing anything. By the end of next week hopefully we'll have taken a bigger step forward at least from the boards perspective.
