Since I pretty much agree with Patrokles I hoy some of my lyrics into the fold aswell... In my rear view mirror the sun is going down Sinking behind bridges in the road And I think of all the good things That we have left undone And I suffer premonitions Confirmed suspicions Of the holocaust to come The rusty wire that holds the cork That keeps the anger in Gives way and suddenly it's day again The sun is in the east Even though the day is done Two suns in the sunset Could be the human race is run & I'll tip my hat to the new constitution Take a bow for the new revolution Smile and grin at the change all around Pick up my guitar and play Just like yesterday Then I'll get on my knees and pray We don't get fooled again & Are these the people that we should bomb Are we so sure they mean us harm Is this our pleasure, punishment or crime Is this a mountain that we really want to climb The road is hard, hard and long Put down that two by four This man would never turn you from his door Oh George! Oh George! That Texas education must have fucked you up when you were very small When I was 17 my mother, bless her heart, fulfilled my summer dream She handed me the keys to the car We motored down to Paris, fuelled with Dexedrine and booze Got bust in Antibes by the cops And fleeced in Naples by the wops But everyone was kind to us, we were the English dudes Our dads had helped them win the war When we all knew what we were fighting for But now an Englishman abroad is just a US stooge The bulldog is a poodle snapping round the scoundrel's last refuge Is gentleness too much for us Should gentleness be filed along with empathy We feel for someone else's child Every time a smart bomb does its sums and gets it wrong Someone else's child dies and equities in defence rise America, America, please hear us when we call You got hip-hop, be-bop, hustle and bustle You got Atticus Finch You got Jane Russell You got freedom of speech You got great beaches, wildernesses and malls Don't let the might, the Christian right, fuck it all up For you and the rest of the world Not in my name, Tony, you great war leader you Terror is still terror, whosoever gets to frame the rules History's not written by the vanquished or the damned Now we are Genghis Khan, Lucretia Borghia, Son of Sam In 1961 they took this child into their home I wonder what became of them In the cauldron that was Lebanon If I could find them now, could I make amends? How does the story end?

No because 90% of the people in Washington didn't have a fucking clue which district was which. The only 'nice' place in Washington is Ayton (where yours truly lives ). The rest of the villages have been over run by Charva families.

FFS!!! Banana Caramel Frappuchinos from Starbucks. No position to judge to be honest. Guilty Pleasure is probably... making myself tea with other peoples food... like a Tuna and cheese melt with Spring Onions... somebodies bread, someone elses mayo and spring onions, another persons Tuna and finally some poor mugs Cheese... spread the sorrow and be the first person to raise the question "Who finished off my Cheese? I don't mind people having a little but leave some for me... it's only fair" Nee wonder you're a tubby git

The Beep Test was fairly tough for slow gits like me. There was always one tit at the end who'd show off by going far longer than everyone else and look really smug about it.

Just wait until Parky gets his teeth into this over on N-O

Me too. Tall, skinny and gobby so the teacher used to make me be a prop with a big fuckoff grin on his face cos he knew how much I hated it.

Finally decided to betray Sony and get an XBox. Went to HMV and got the premium console, a wireless controller, PGR3 and Rockstar Table Tennis for £300. After a few days play I can honestly i'm really enjoying it (more down to Rockstar Table Tennis, which is fucking amazing, than PGR3). I'm looking to get a router for online play, Saints Row and Dead Rising with my next paycheck.

Just saw it today too and I thought it was excellent. Slow to get going but once it was in full flow I was on the edge of my seat. Aye but ***********SPOILER WARNING***************** The end seemed like it was tacked on at the last minute, suddenly up pops Chase, shoots DiCaprio and then everyone else dies, not exactly a dramatic climax or twist which could have been guessed, a complete let-down IMO. Aye, the ending was probably the low point of the film. I was worried that it would drag on a bit too much but I didn't mind the length, not like Pirates of the Carribean which I couldn't wait to get out of. -
I know more than a few people who are exactly like that
