Well this one's Gary Kelly... Check out that shoulderpad-tastic keeper shirt too - I had one of those, they were class Who's the kid in between McDonald and Mirandinha. Michael O'NEILL looks young there. Anth Lormor

Fantastic day out and a great result. Will quite happily settle for the same tonight.

We aren't at the top of the league, we are at the bottom. At this end of the table a draw is good enough. Don't get me wrong a win in our situation would be outfuckingstanding, but a draw is still valuable. The mackems are at home to ManYoo, so realistically no points for them. Boro play Hull. Hopefully a point for each. But no disaster if Boro win. Portsmouth could pull themselves away with a home win against WBA and you would expect them to do just that. So our real rivals (Hull and mackems) both have difficult fixtures. This fixture is shaping up to mirror the Brum away game last season. A good performance and at least a point would be a step in the right direction.

I got 38 points and 15th. We have 3 very winnable home games left. Hull and the mackems have arguably more difficult run ins than us. We won't be safe on the last day of the season but can't see either of those two getting points at home to ManYoo and Chelski. I have us getting 0 points away from home, so anything out of those four games would be a bonus.

They seem to have the Taylors mixed up. Surely?

If we can get 2 points from Hull and Stoke we will be doing well. Take a look at our away record, its utter shit. The crucial games are Pompey, Boro and Fulham. Anything less than 9 points from those 3 and I fear the reality of relegation.

We are 9/1 to win this on betfair. Anyone else think that is a little too generous??? I mean we could play out of our skins and they could have a bad night. One of Saylor's Gump like charges down the line might actually lead somewhere for once... On second thoughts, fuck that, we'd still lose by at least 3 clear goals. Whats the draw, man utd are due a slip? 7/2

5 or 6 points from the next seven games. Our survival depends on what we get from home games against Pompey, Boro and Fulham. Anything less than 7 points from those three and we may regret it.

It's the pause that gets me I don't think Charles Insomnia is for Kinnear... -
Right player and a decent price. Exactly what is required at the moment. This season's Kilcline.

Not that bad tbh. They're certainly no better. I just hope we can cope with Jones. Isn't Jonas banned though?

We are 9/2 at the moment on betfair (5.5 in digital odds) The money at the moment is suggesting Stoke, West Brom and Boro. However I reckon that Boro and Stoke have a fighting chance of staying up. Personally I think one of Portsmouth, Hull or ourselves will go down. Pretty gloomy at the moment but attempting to be positive, nobody is buying at the moment other than Citeh. So if we can hang on to what we have (big if), and add one or two bodies then we have as much chance as anybody.

There weren't any flaws in his ManYoo deal. The flaw in the West Ham deal was the clause that the owners could transfer him whenever they wanted regardless of West Ham's wishes. No such clause exists in his ManYoo deal. I'm sure the rule was about "third party ownership or financial interest" - as I said above how can he be "on loan" from a non-club? I know they tried to fiddle it by saying it was about "registration" or even by mentioning what you have said but the deals are definitley against the spirit of the law. The rule has now been changed but the Tevez/ManYoo deal was done before the change. Previously, third party ownership was allowed but third party influence was not. Anyone can own the economic rights to a player.

Aston VILLAIN fouls Bowyer with arm around neck. Mates attempt to free the Geordie. Stephen Carr in extra leg shock.

Geremi may very well be wank, but he has also provided about 4 of our 10 goals this season.

Carroll's first touch is worse than Martins. Carroll's first touch is worse than mine. It's a mystery how he ever laid a finger on that lass in the Bigg Market with co-ordination like that.

Colo and Stroller were the two outstanding performances tonight. On the whole though, every one of them battled and gave it their all. Which is a million miles away from the shite that was dished out against Hull and Blackburn (first half).
