He's the most creative player we have and he's played at left-back ahead of £6m left-back we signed in the summer. It's been said so many times and is so obvious to 99% of fans it's ridiculous. I saw the whole game and heres my 2 penneth. Martins just isnt performing. Zero confidence and he isnt putting away the chances we are providing him with, 2 sterling chances today he fluffed Smith gives nothing to the team, like geremi and barton, he isnt even worthy of a place on the bench Beye is our best defender, Cacapa had a decent game, Tyalor was ok but shocking error for the goal. Faye and Rozenhal seem much better playing Butts role than a CB position. Unfortunately Butt is better than both of them! Sams tactics were once again laughable. First 15 mins of the second half we were all over chelsea. Smith gets injured, perfect chance to put on owen or viduka with 2 up top to press for the winner against chelseas poor XI. . . . so he brings on a CB to hold on for the draw. Low and behold, Chelsea pepper our goal for 30 mins and finally score. 1 minute left and he brings on viduka. Fucking shambles!!! Yes their second goal was blatantly offside but if drogba or sheva had been playing we would have been 6-1 down by that point.

In custody til the 3rd of january missing the next 2 games. Apparently he was caught on CCTV in what looked like an unprovoked attack, followed up by abusing any strangers that happened to be walking past him. Judge refused bail as he is already on bail for another violent offence. The FA should ban him from playing for another club. Hes a thug and i hope he gets locked up.

Not tall enough in my opinion to be a truly great keeper. Hadaway and shite man Hes made a couple of errors in the last season, but then cech has done that in the last 2 weeks! Hes been the best keepr our club has probably ever had and we will struggle to find someone as consistently good as him once he leaves.

Going to look good in his impending court case. Hopefully we have a clause in his contract saying we can flog him without compensation if he fucks up again.

Tbf the first 15mins were awesome but there were large parts of the second half where you could have heard a pin drop.

I think it would be career suicide on his part, but i bet he could put our best XI out consistently and would even go so far as to say he would do a better job than BS here.

If he played 442 with the players in their proper positions and the best players on the pitch the pressure would be firmly on the players now and not him. As it is, hes got players out of position, our best players on the bench and hes going for 0-0 draws against the bottom 3 teams with our slowest striker up front on his own. He deserves all the criticism he gets. Regardless of who our captain is!

We started with Emre in the midfield, and both wingers in their correct positions, and still lost. Yeah, because duff and milner had possession of the ball for all of 60 seconds through the 90 minute game. The ball went in a straight line from Smith/Faye to Viduka and straight back again for the whole match. Emre got battered all over trying to go up for headers all match.

His tactics are crap and his man management skills dont look much better at the minute. A decent manager needs at least one of those qualities, if not both!
