I was sat right next to the away fans at the Chelsea match. There was 1 bloke in particular who fascinated me. 30ish, dressed in what to me looked like a flashers mac but I'd imagine was some type of expensive hooligan clobber. He spent the the full 90mins giving sly "wanker" signs down by his side, checking to see if stewards were watching and then signalling to offer people out for a fight after the match and that he'd put them to sleep It was so tragic it was funny, me and my dad were creased You just know he's watched green street 300 times

You do wonder whether there's a club account that the tv money gets parked in to cover the squads monthly wages etc, and you certainly wouldn't put it past Ashley to think "£305m bought you the club, the stadium and the training facilities... I'm not leaving you the £30mil sitting in the bank too"

4 weeks into the takeover, fighting relegation, and Eddie Howe likely to be our new manager. Who are our realistic signings then? James Tarkovski, Nathan Ake and Kieran Trippier would be a good start to sorting out the defence. Tarkovski and Trippier wouldn't cost much in fees. I'd be looking at Nicole Pope in the Summer too. He must be getting sick of being overlooked for England and he's better than Dubravka.

It always struck me as a odd that a region with a huge amount of cricket fans from Indian, Bangladeshi and Pakistani backgrounds only has 1 player representing their team from that entire local population (Rashid)
