The releif of yesterday hasnt papered over the performances v the tramps and Liverpool. They put the tin hat on a piss poor season and wont be forgotten in a hurry, not by me anyway. Got to say, before the advent of FB, I was in touch with one girl in my year at school and that was it, and thats because she was my sisters best friend and still lives in the village where we all grew up and where my parents still live.Living at the opposite end of the country since 1990 hasnt help with that either. I'd neve have won a popularity poll back then (might explain the broken nose! ), so fuck knows how am now back in touch with half the school year I still sometimes get recognised, so I dont think I've changed that much, but like you say, by the time you get into your forties there can be a lot of changes..

We'd have been better off selling 2 players for a combined 20-30 million, replacing them with the usual Carr "young,cheap,probably French,half decent" characters and banking the rest. So another striker wasn't a priority after selling Ba? Pardew is culpable in all this, but there's a host of other factors you ignore. Pardew is a symptom of the way the club is run; he's cheap and fairly ineffective. But he's by no the fuckin cause.

tbh we were a Cisse leg break in February away from a record low points total so where you get that the squad was good enough from am fucked if o know.
