Y'know, it's funny, I've read through the posts in this thread a couple of times thinking I didn't have anything to add to it, but it turns out I do. I got an email from Eurosport reminding my $10 off coupon was about to expire, so I set about looking for it. First place I looked was my wallet. While digging around, I found two sentimental things- the first is a tin coin I made in one of these arcade type machines where you rotate this pointer thing to designate a letter, then you pull the handle and it strikes the coin. It says, "Breea & Clint 2000"- made it right after we got married and it's been in my wallet ever since. The other is a grocery list my grandmother gave me. It was the last one I ever filled for her. She died in February of 2002.

You sayin' I'm fat? You live in America, it's implicit. Says the dude getting a supermarket voucher for his birthday...

When they're on the steps of parliment with the nuke codes in their back pocket, they can be bombed. So like Fop said a completely ridiculous position is the best you can come up with. (it's no wonder you ran away from this thread ) Holy Fuck you're a boring CU#T!!!!! stop talking about yourself in the third person and dragging this thread on any further. The fact is that if the governments currently carrying out "military operations" in Afghanistan wanted to they could play the covert game and take out which ever target they wanted with little or no colateral damage. However since it's the U.S. (no offence to any yanks reading this) they've read (and probably authored a few chapters) the Al-Qaeda hand-book and are trying to wreak the same sort of terror on the general populous as those they are fighting. Just so I am CRYSTAL clear as to what my position is, I think that the military should be performing operations similar to what Fish mentioned, let the enemy go about their biz as normal and then take them out as opportunity warrents, note the difference Fop between surgical strikes using a .50 cal sniper rifle and "surgical strikes" using a 1000 lb. bomb. Not offended at all, but to be fair, we didn't steal their playbook, they stole ours.

But do you have to pay for him? Well, postage and handling... In other news, how big of a retard am I for buying an Owen jersey back in November when he actually seemed to be regaining form?

Gutted. God, Kljestan was horrid. I don't think I saw him complete one pass. We really could've used Bradley in a game like this. That Donovan give and go goal with Davies was so pretty I wanted to date it and meet it's parents.

Mutant Chronicles Kept thinking the TV I got from the wife around Christmas was going bad. Dark as fuck, and not in a good way. Apparently it's all blue-screen and CGI sets. Blood is sorta like Sin City's red accents. Totally doesn't work. Wasn't expecting a bunch (Cable Guide has it as a 1 star), but still kinda threw me too- Ron Perlman and John Malkovich aren't bad guys, y'know? 2/10. -
Brilliant! But why's he wearing two pairs of sunglasses, though ?? Part of the joke, innit?

Is that a guy wearing capri pants?

No kidding. "This week" has been a damn month... -
Is that the one that had me, myself, and I? My college roomate was really into De La. Dude- here's another (can't really be, can it?) 20 year old album for ya... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pretty_Hate_Machine That album put me on my ass. Still remember driving around hearing Head Like A Hole on the local college station and going, "What the fuck is that?" Another great album of 1989 I still listen to...

Son of a... You'd have been burned for this in the middle ages, sponge.

Useful if you get Alzheimers I suppose. You should suggest he goes the whole hog and has his name, address, important birthdays, passwords and PIN code tattoed on there as well. There's plenty of room. Been watching Memento?

Sorry for your loss, Toon. My pops and I basically didn't speak for 10 years, but we're cool now and I dread the day I put him in the ground. He's a good guy. As for what I got him, I got lucky. A work friend of mine from Pittsburgh went back to visit just a couple weeks ago during the Pens Cup run. My dad's a massive Pens fan, so I had my friend pick up a bunch of "locals only" type shit that he can't just find on NHL.com. Just a bunch of random shit really, but I think he'll be pleased.

Bluelight.ru has answered any and all questions I've pretty much ever had about any and all drugs.

I had a guy stop me in Austin, Texas once asking if I'd buy his shoes from him so he could buy crack. I let him keep the shoes.

True 'dat. I find it amazing that being as how the Bible seems to be written really poetically and with tons of metaphor and whatnot that so many people want to take it so literally. Not to mention it's been translated a couple of times, y'know? That's just crazy to me. It's like the building a fire thing and how the folks referenced in this story take it to mean lights. I mean, maybe since they're supposed to be sitting around meditating on God or whatever, the Jews back in the day didn't want them building fires because building a fire was a pain in the ass and it distracted you from thinking about God? Y'know, going out, gathering up firewood and kindling, then working with flint and steel or whatever to start the kindling, then blowing on it to catch the rest of the wood- I can see how that'd be distracting or "work" or whatever, y'know? But flipping on a light switch? That doesn't take any effort or thought at all. Might not have had anything to do with heat or light at all.

Bruno showed up a lot more in the Ali G show he did for HBO here in the States. Not as funny as Borat or Ali, but had some pretty funny moments. I'm sure it's on YouTube or something, but the Bruno Spring Break episode/ skit/ whatever is one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Ranks right up there with Borat at the shooting range and Ali interviewing the veteran/ veterinarian on the farm.

Video in link. Fell asleep? Fuck off!! Evidently asked for it all, had the piss ripped out of her and is looking for a way out of it... Exactly. Something seemed like a good idea at the time and now it doesn't. I'm a big fan of repurcussions. I think tattoos are cool, but it's something you should consider. This whole laser removal thing takes away from the whole expeience. I'm also a big fan of the notion that some things should be done whilst fully awake and aware. Again, tattoos hurt- some places more than others obviously, but there's no way this chick "fell asleep." Vic'ed up or something? Sure. Drunk and passed out? I buy that. But that's why you consider getting a tattoo before you just run out and get your face done like a dumbass.

No, it wasn't AEG. Only reason I remember that was I was completely convinced it was them being mentioned as the anonymous American consortium, but folks on here directed me to a news article in which Uncle Phil categorically denied any interest. Now, that was then... could be a different story now. As bad as Ashley has been, dunno if AEG would be any better. I'm a L.A. Kings fan- AEG has owned us for 10 years now and we've made the playoffs three our four times in that stretch- once we got out of the first round. Who knows though- they signed Becks for the Galaxy... maybe they just don't like their hockey team.

Based on this, http://www.gonomad.com/transports/0012/javins_driveaway.html It sounds like you (being the person driving the car) become a subcontractor to a auto transporting service who was originally hired by the vehicle's owner to move it. For what it's worth, I've never heard of this particular racket. Not to say it isn't on the up-and-up, but it seems odd anyone would actually pay to have their car driven by some stranger. Typically folks either drive it themselves when they move or rent a trailer. Just can't imagine there's that much demand for this sort of thing, but who knows.
