  1. He said the win was down to the group and that he only made a couple of minor changes. he didn't make any changes tbf. that is the same way hughton was lining them up. Barton gives him credit for a few tweaks during his Talk Sport interview. Doesnt say what they were. really? that's surprising given how little credit he gave him during the espn interview I think that was more down to the stupid bints stupid question.

  3. That would be right, cos he is a deluded mother fucker. He'd be the only one that thinks that way..... Well apart from the last decision (which only time will tell) I agree with all of the others.
  4. What a brilliant interview. EVERYONE should have a listen to it.
  5. And full match available here for anyone with another couple of hours to enjoy. http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/6031964/EP...11_-_Dec_-_2010
  6. Course he wants us to do well, the problem is that we dont and probably will never know why. The investment is definitely a part of it and only natural, but I think its his ego that is driving him. He seems determined to make us succeed his way. He's certainly made quite a few errors in his time and its hard to imagine an owner whose actions have continually alienated his customers so often. These things can only properly be judged in Hindsight but I am sure that HE feels he has got every decision right since relegation. Not giving Shearer the job (who btw wanted to get rid of Barton) Giving Chris the job Strengthening the squad in the summer with the likes of Tiote and Bern Arfa Tying down the young good players on long contracts. Agreeing that himself and LLambias would make no further statements or interviews And now replacing Hughton The thing we also forget is the "good" owners are just not out there anymore. There all fat ass business men with no affiliation to the club and usually two keen to turn profitable clubs like Man U and Liverpool into Debt monsters.
  7. What a difference a good win makes. We really are a team who should be chasing Europe when our best teams available. Barton is an absolute god this season and Tiote, fucking hell simply orgasmic. In hindsight I will admit to being harsh on Carrol. Having the audacity to score that goal, from there, at that point in the match. Starting to believe the hype about him. (better late than never). We still have a few problems that need addressing until reinforcements come in in January. Upfront, Shola shouldnt start again. (til that game). I would start with Ranger without a doubt. The alternative is moving Barton into the middle, Routledge onto the wing and Nolan upfront. Jonas just has to go and while I know the lad is young, I would give Ferguson a run out. (Think it was against Chelsea where he was very good in for Jonas). The Big decision Pardew will have is with regard to Campbell and Taylor. It will be hard as a new manager trying to win over players, to drop two lads who have just helped you beat Liverpool 3-1. However having seen the two of them play, I cant wait for Colochini and Williamson to get back in. Until I saw him again yesterday I had forgotten how crap Taylor can be at times. Overall the result was just what we needed and the atermatch interview with Barton was simply priceless. PS God if your reading this, please watch over Barton Tiote and Carrol on the injury front.
  8. Don't see any benefit in playing Routledge rather than Jonas.I don't think either have sufficient end product, but Jonas' link up with Jose is brilliant at times and I don't think you'd get the same from Routledge and Simpson. I also think playing Barton on the right means that when Jonas goes a-scampering, Barton, Nolan and Tiote can become a very stoic midfield 3. Obviously I'd much prefer to have a productive winger on either flank, a mobile combative midfield which scores goals and a full head of hair, but we don't have those options. I'd say the only changes I'd make to the team that took the field today would be Colo and Wilo in the middle instead of Sol "turning circle of a tectonic plate" Campbell and Steven "I'm a lercal hero, no honest, now where's my flash contract" Taylor Brilliant once a season and thats about it. Its always the same with Jonas, no end product. Add to that the fucker is probably the most scaredest footballer I have ever seen when it comes to getting a foot in. Disgrace to the shirt tbh.
  9. Honestly you are a mug. I believe in my heart no one can be a bigger wank than you in person, you must be better than your crack on here. I tell you how clueless you are, you raise one good point, but mention fuck all about Shola. You have no idea, fuckin get back in your taxi listening to the 3 legends you clueless cunt. Aye, we know who the clueless cunt is once again.
  10. Watched the match in the boozer. Barton man of the match (already my player of the season from Sept) Tiote, will give Barton a close run for player of the season. Carrol, had a poor game by his standards but provided and scored a cracker which is even starting to make me a believer. Jonas. Fuck off and die you spinelees shite wanker. Campbell (2nd fastest player in the prem.... copyright Alex ) Ranger, massive improvement on the tart that is Shola. I would go with Routledge on the wing, Barton in the middle, Nolan up off Carrol and Ferguson instead of Jonas. Overall delighted with the result (which I thought we'd get), Pleased with Ashleys celebrations as it shows we mean something. Europe here we come.
  11. We all had a real good laugh at that in the boozer.
  12. Some would call it a gift, but on here it feels more like a curse.
  13. Don't think they have been shit, this is standard Liv fare these days. Think you;re wrong about Moby as well, been putting himself about big style. Rolling round on the floor laughing me tits of
  14. Fuck off you boring little maggot a wins a fucking win.
  15. I have a shit memory but I struggle to recall a player for NUFC doing what he does as well as what he does. It will be a fine line between him and Barton for player of the season.
  16. Still in the pub but once again ...... Right as usual.
  17. Until it gets succesful and a fat asshole comes and buys it.
  18. Everytime someone tries to organise something, 95% say whats the point and we should be getting behind the team etc. Not that I think anything will remove him, but the only way for protests to be organised is through a supporters club. We've debated this at great length after KK and ended up with NUSC. (Good intentions wrong format / plan). A free supporters club should be set up with members simply registering through various avenues. Initially it should have no high and mighty plans, simply be there as a beacon for supporters allowing communication to be exchanged and cencus gathered. Need a few genuine fans (like PeasePud) who are there for the right reasons to give up small amounts of time to get the thing up and running. A simple website allowing information to be exchanged. A monthly newsletter. Last time the argument was "lots of mackems would register and fuck it up". They wont. Just like we arnt inundated on here with them. Even if some did sign up, Im sure they would soon get bored with a monthly news letter and unsubscribe. This would be a supporters club first and foremost, not political, not protest. Let it build grow and develop naturally so that in a few years time when we are faced with similar circumstances, it would be in a much more powerful position to speak on behalf of the fans and if needed, coordinate protests. This could be up and running in days and would soon dwarf NUST. A website up, a registration page and a brief statement page basically explaining whats said above. Once up and running I am sure there are many out there who would happily assist with financial needs from time to time such as leaflets / printing etc. It should be a proper social club as well allowing events (whatever they may be ) to be organised and attended. This really could be done very quickly, very simply and lead to a great supporters club. While hopeless at web design and probably unsuitable as PR, I would however be only too happy to serve the course in whatever way I could. Come on Peter, Make it so!
  19. Trophy in 2 years apparently if not before http://www.espn.co.uk/espn/sport/video_audio/61904.html
  20. Thing is it still wouldnt get rid of him. TV is the main source of income and even a big drop in the gate down to 30,000 or so would just see sections of the ground closed down and staff in those areas sacked. Out of spite he would probably close the gallowgate. Until someone with more money than sense comes in or Ashleys ticker gives up, he wont be going anywhere. You simply cant hurt him in the pocket.
