  1. Question is; Who is the big fibber? (1) Staveley, who says a bid is still on the table. (2) Ashley, who says there's never been a bid on the table. After the tumult and shouting dies, the King and his compatriots won't depart. I don't know what valuation Ashley has placed on the Club, and he seems to be unbending. If we are relegated for the third time during his reign, he'll certainly have to change his valuation.
  2. Which? (1) We get a win. (2) We get a draw. (3) We get beat. (4) We get pummeled. (5) We pray for a miracle.
  3. Is anyone really surprised at this 3 ringed circus act with Ashley & Staveley as the leading clowns? I'm not, frustrated and as mad as hell but, surprised? NO!
  4. If there is not enough buy or loan money forthcoming in this window, if there is no quality players added to the squad in this window, and if a takeover doesn't happen, there's a good chance Rafa will walk away at end of season, and no one could blame him for not wanting more of Ashley's persona. The fact we are 2 weeks into the January window and there is no sign or hint of budget or players, is a bad omen.
  5. Too bad, I was hoping we'd be the team to break their un-beaten record.
  6. Looks like someone thinks like I do, and not what you do Mr. Whitehurst. And you might have had a different opinion had Diame's hand ball resulted in a penalty and red card.
  7. Yes he fucking did. He took 2 goal scoring chances and missed by a mile. In fact you said he had 2 shots outside the box.
  8. Not really baffling, I didn't say the midfield selection was wrong, I said Diame was wrong, and Diame played his part in missed chances.
  9. I fault Benitez for that loss of 2 points. Diame ahead of Merino............Bullshit. Bringing Merino on in the last 10 minutes.......Bullshit. Wake-up Rafa. Game should have been won in the first half with the chances we had and the amount of possession. Lost the plot in the second and have easily thrown the game away.........nearly did.
  10. GingerNut fell in the Gut, and swallered aal the fishees. And so should you if you think a draw would be fine.
  11. I'm not too fussed about an FA Cup exit as there's been a bloody lot of them over the years, disappointing each time YES, but happily enough we've won the cup 3 times in my lifetime. It's the league title I wanna see before my expiration date, which can't be that far off.
  12. Newport...............why am I thinking 13 and Shack..........mmmm
  13. Getting down to the bare facts are we, naughty-naughty.
  14. So touching through a coat, jumper, cardigan, or blouse, doesn't count eh?
  15. How do you keep abreast of such trivia information ewerk, is it based on your personal experience? Incidentally my first touch was at 15.
  16. Example case; Chelsea's Diego Costa deal with Ath. Madrid was done in September but he was not eligible to play for them until January.
  17. It does baffle me a bit too, negotiations can be carried out secretly behind closed doors long before a window opens, and when the window opens...........voila!
  18. All this talk about Kenedy, but what will he bring in the way of experience and quality to a position we sorely need, and what position is that??
  19. Southampton v Crystal Palace today and it's a crucial game for us. If Southampton win they will move above us in the table bumping us down a peg. If Palace win we'll probably stay where we are. Let's have them draw eh.
  20. Aa knaa, an' its aboot twenty fower ooers inter the winda. Aa thowt they'd be borstin in like.
  21. Must admit I thought we were going to blow it in the final 10 minutes. Anyone who wasn't biting their nails obviously weren't watching the match.
  22. Ecstatic with the Happy New Year win, but could have done without the 10 minutes of nail biting at the end. Full marks to Darlow, his saves were instrumental in our victory. Shelvey had a great first half, not as good in the second but all in all a good shift.
