  1. Good idea, can I suggest a countdown clock on your site and if they haven't got different stewards by the time it runs out then we can have a boycoutt. You could but as we've said before I wouldnt listen to any suggestion you made
  2. If everyone can email their experiences of it to issues@newcastle-united-supporters-club.co.uk then we'll happily take it up on peoples behalfs but we need as many statements as possible.
  3. Or the fact that Nicky Butt was "coming in on Monday to sign the new contract that hes more than happy with" according to JFK a fortnight ago yet lo and behold theres no sign of it so far even though Butt has been quoted as saying he wants to finish his career here".
  4. Was anyone involved in or near the incident in Level 7 this afternoon? From what Im hearing it was down to the same one or two new heavy handed stewards that were involved last week as well, anyone have any views on this or can confirm these claims?
  5. Dennis Wise is nailed on. Fucking shortarsed little dwarf cunt, its one reason to hope they get back in the Premiership, would love to see the stick he'll get.
  6. Newcastle United are still for sale but their interim manager, Joe Kinnear, has confirmed that discussions involving the owner, Mike Ashley, have begun in the event of Ashley being unable to find a buyer. Talking for the first time about the possibility of Ashley being at St James' Park next season, Kinnear said: "He's already talked to me about that, the possibility of staying on if it's not sold." When asked if he sensed Ashley was beginning to plan for the non-sale scenario, Kinnear replied: "I get that sense, I'm getting optimistic about it, let's put it that way. But you don't know what's around the corner. "He will sell it if someone comes in with the right offer. We've spoken about the future. He [Ashley] has said: 'It looks like I'm not going to be able to sell it so we'll have to start talking about next year as well.' He's talking about it in long terms, he's comingto terms with the idea that he isn't about to sell it. Therefore he wants to get back in and rebuild the club, ifyou like." How Newcastle fans, who rebelled against Ashley and his "Cockney Mafia" regime, will take these words remains to be seen. Supporters were infuriated by the treatment of the previous manager, Kevin Keegan, who is now involved in a lawsuit against the club. The expectation was that Keegan's claim would be heard in early January, but it is understood that after a preliminary hearing last week it could be March before legal arguments are heard. There is still the chance of an out-of-court settlement. "When something else is out of the way I think you'll see a different picture," Kinnear said of Ashley. "I think you'll see a different Mike when that's all been put to bed. I know it's hurting him, the position he is in, and I know he definitely wants to come back. "I think once the fans see he's prepared to invest back in the club, once they see we're improving, the team's getting better, a few more players added, it's all pluses on his side." Newcastle host Tottenham today. "Two clubs waiting to happen," Kinnear said, "if they get the backing of the owners." http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/footbal...le-1206185.html
  7. Terrible. 1/10. The media in this country are a disgrace. Stone wall fact. It doesn't bother many people but it really winds me up. I think its wank yes but for different reasons, to me they're just stating the obvious.
  8. We could do with a bit help on the following if anyone has any contacts or the like. We're trying to get a band together to play around the streets, the original thought was on the back of a truck but not sure if thats feasible in the timescales (H&S etc) but we are looking for a band. Ideally one of those trumpet (Nobby???) and the like bands so no KORN tributes etc. We're also trying to get in touch with Graham Danby the Opera bloke so if anyone knows how to contact him that would be appreciated.
  9. Worth a mention IMO Cheers for the RAWK one, been trying to get a post on for days but for some reason I seem unable to create threads and couldnt find an admin account to PM! Do me a favour and ask one of them to take a neb at it for me : I had the same issues - think they've got a thing setup whereby you have to contribute to so many threads before you can create a new one. The link is here: http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/index.php?topic=234343.0 Aye cheers been on and replied.

  11. Well cheers for that, its much appreciated. Thing is (and this isnt me being a condescending prick as you so beautifully put it) if you think that protests will make him sell then go and do it, I'll even provide you with webspace and a site, get yourself sorted and make calls for a new protest group, make it free to join and ask all those that agree with you to turn up and help you force Ashley out. In all honesty Im guessing that Id be able to come along, pick you out of the crowd and buy you a pint (from the Strawberry not Shearers!) on match day because you'll be one of a very small number holding the bedsheet. But go ahead and do it because if you do then I will have every respect for you, simply because you got off your arse and tried. Top marks to the kidda that organised the march before the Hull game or those that refused to go into the game before it started but frankly where are they now? I havent heard anything more from these people, not because they dont care but because they realise they're pissing in the wind. Get 10k fans to join it though and then you've got yourself a proper protest. That however cannot happen overnight, this football clubs problem is that we have not had a proper supporters club up until now, that in itself though doesnt appear overnight, it takes time, sweat and toil and as has already been seen it cannot satisfy everybody all of the time. Oh and by the way, one of the main lawyers on the committee is one of the strongest voices when it comes to wanting to protest.
  12. That explains the rather strange tasting burgers then.
  13. Im not though, Im asking some simple pertinent questions. If you wanted and believed in protest so much then you would have joined at the very start and been there getting involved but by your own admission you didnt. Yes you went on a march and it was the likes of these marches that spurred the formation of the NUSC but then after that people went apathetic. Read back through this board and N-O and you'll see that a large number of fans were against hardcore protesting, yes they followed the pie boycott for a while but now you cant get moved at half time for the queues. The NUSC quickly found out it cannot have enough bite without building up its membership base first, doing the complete opposite of what the average fan on the street wanted was never going to achieve that. My argument to you though is that you say you wanted the same things as the NUSC did but didnt join up, didnt offer help, didnt give your time etc then when that dies down you have a go at it for not succeeding. You cant always leave these things to others, if you want to make a difference then get out there and do something. If you dont agree with the current stance of the NUSC then join up and make your voice heard otherwise nobody will ever know you think differently. I reiterate again though the statement from Malcolm was correctly reported but hideously placed under a misleading headline. He was asked about the fact the Journal logged 44% as being willing to forgive him, he answered correctly in that "yes, if he came back did some good stuff and sorted the shite out then some people will be willing to forgive". What was never said was "Mike come back and the NUSC say all Newcastle fans will forgive you", its highly unlikely that MA can ever do enough to turn around the damage thats already been done but I for one would welcome him trying to.
  14. So I assume you are a member, joining up at the start when we were protesting and trying to organise flash mobs and protest banners? I imagine theres email after email in the NUSC inbox from you offering your services. That you too were cautioned for the heinous crime of handing out leaflets outside the ground. Or were you more willing to stand back and let others try and do that stuff, talking down their efforts at the time and then calling them for not managing it afterwards? If you want a say in whats done then join up, if you dont do that then you cant realistically slate it when it fails in those efforts can you? Just to reiterate the point again (and again and again). The white flag has not been raised however we all come to a point when we realise that realistically you cannot influence something this big in a short period of time. There is no buyer, its not like MA is refusing to sell to some Geordie billionaire thats going to pump his entire life into the club. Nobody wants it therefore in the short term we have to try and get the club back on a stable footing. Like JAWD says the time for protest is not now, its later. We will continue to harangue (sic?) MA, continue to point out the things he does wrong and continue to shout at him to do things better but for the time being thats the best we can hope for. Maybe if we had 20k members then we could arrange the kind of protests that will make a difference but currently we havent, until then we'll continue to plug away at these things, organising stuff such as the SBR day and members nights and building up the membership towards one that can influence stuff.

  16. Been put back to 5pm on the 2nd Feb? When was this announced? naebody telt me like!!!!
  17. I do. It's a piece of piss to get money out of publications in the UK for defamation and other stuff of that ilk. If he has been stitched up then he'd be a fool not to take them to court and make a couple of grand out of them. Didn't the NOTW admit a while back that their 'interview' with him was a complete fabrication? *laughs*
  18. you cant miss it, there'll be huge queues of people waiting to buy tickets to the next game cancel their Direct Debits
  19. The editor of the sporting life said that on talksport, which is a bit different, and he was taking a guess, the same as any punter on here. Steve Bruce got it right, he said only if he gets a stupid ie 10 mill offer for Heskey would he consider selling Heskey in January, and aonly if he can find a decent replacement....and JFK said much the same at the weekend. I think he's ours till the summer, but after that who knows? Steve Bruce has a chairman/owner who supports his manager and understands football as an ex pro. World of difference between that and a fuckwit like Ashley has been so far. 110% correct
  20. get the fuck in!!!!! Class end to the game. 89th minute winner. I was going to go as well. Next round Blackburn isnt it? Aye. I was tempted to go, but pansied out and watched on Shitanta. They'll be dancing on the streets of Chester Le Street tonight!
