I am running a Thomson SpeedTouch 585 v7 router on o2 Broadband with one machine wired and (a maximum of) 3 wireless, after 2 months problem free last night it all went Pete Tong. Suddenly I lost my connection on a wireless PC and could not connect again, the refresh list of connections would be missing the o2 connection then Id refresh and it would appear. If I connected on average 1 in 4 or 5 attempts would connect, any failure would be followed by the loss of the router in the list. Sometimes when I did connect it would give me an IP error relating to more than one PC having the same IP address and then boot me off. I tried switching off (PC 4 times and router twice) all the time the wired PC was working fine. I tried the reset button on the router and following that got connected however when I was I realised that I was getting 0.3Mb speed on the wireless PC and 7.2Mb on wired. This however was livable for the hour or so I needed access. At the end of the night I switched everything off, all PCs, router etc and this morning I now cannot connect at all, sometimes it appears in the list but never allows me to connect (Ive tried 3 different wireless machines including my iphone but none can connect). All lights except the wireless one are green, wireless is amber. Im a little lost now as to what to do. Ive had to connect my PC by using the iPhone as a router which is not bastard ideal I can tell you!

Arent you just shooting yourself in the foot here? Basically you're saying that 4 managers wanted the job, 3 good names and Joe Kinnear so Ashley picked Kinnear! Not exactly a glowing testament to the owner that. ahem, I dont see an answer to this, serous question though Baggio, you've bandied three names around as managers who wanted the job after Keegan as some kind of glowing testament of the Ashley regime yet we ended up with Kinnear. I am honestly interested to hear your views on that.

I'm wondering if it's more of a case of N'Zogbia/Martins & Owen/Jonas working tbh. are you wanting ketchup or brown sauce on your brown eye btw? -

Personally, I dont see him saying "I've made some mistakes" as a turning point, hes still spouting the shite about not being safe and hes not making any attempts to sort things out. To be fair I should amend that last sentence to say "hes not appearing to make any attempts.." He needs to start planning and moving forwards, there are no more moves for us at this stage, hes had an interview, lets see if he does anything following it.
-
You want to be careful there, people could read that as you saying hes starting to do the right thing because of something the NUSC did. He probably is and I gave credit where it was due when NUSC said it at the time. People don't have to like Ashley but for the sake of the club I think it's better that he does take an interest if he can't sell it. Exactly, for once me and you agree. I dont like Ashley, dont trust him and hope he leaves as soon as possible but while hes here I want him to do the right thing by this club, that doesnt mean I expect him to buy us Ronaldo, Pele and Beckham but it does mean sort out contracts, invest in the team and not sell those players that have a future at this club. Where I suspect we still differ is I dont believe he will do those things and as I said earlier in this thread, sending a text to Kinnear from Barbados does not to me, show any kind of interest. I hope to be eating my words come Feb 1.

In that respect I agree, up until KK left we did seem to be negotiating, once he'd gone though all of that seemed to break down. Who knows why but the cynic in me says its because Keegan fought to keep him and once he'd gone then they didnt bother, knowing he'd be going in Jan. -
Apologies, that wasnt aimed at you directly, just the overall feeling of apathy toward him.

EVERTON want Michael Owen in January’s transfer window to replace crocked striker Yakubu. And if Newcastle refuse to release the England striker, Goodison boss David Moyes will make a summer move to sign a player he almost landed last August. Yakubu looks like missing the rest of the season after rupturing his Achilles tendon – and Moyes hopes to replace him with Owen, to play alongside former Man United hitman Louis Saha. Owen was an Everton fan as a youngster, before signing for Liverpool. The stumbling block to Owen, 29 today, joining Everton four months ago was his wage of £110,000-a-week. But as the Daily Star Sunday revealed three weeks ago, Owen WILL take a pay cut to secure a move in the new year. Otherwise, he will quit Newcastle at the end of the season as a free agent. The ex-Liverpool striker wants to return to the north west to join a club either in the Champions League or with the potential to get there. Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez says he’s NOT after Owen and a Man United move is unlikely. Meanwhile, Newcastle boss Joe Kinnear revealed that Tuesday is D-day in his attempt to keep Owen at the club – and stressed there would be no sense in the club losing him in January when they are fighting relegation. Kinnear said: “In Michael’s case, it’s out of our hands. I’m just desperate for him to sign a new contract but we will know where we stand on Tuesday – that will be the big crunch day. “I suppose people are waiting to grab him, so maybe we will lose him.” Kinnear also fears Owen leaving could cost the club up to £140m if Newcastle are relegated. Owner Mike Ashley’s attempts to sell the club have stalled, and Kinnear stressed: “Mike will be looking to get his money back when he does sell. “That would be about £240m. “But if we end up in the Championship, the club would only be worth £100m.’’ http://www.dailystar.co.uk/football/view/6...-goes-for-Owen/

http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/footbal...ne-1065966.html its hard to even know where to fucking start here! Do you or dont you Joe? make your mind up in the same interview ffs. Ffs so thats Enrique pissed off now, even if the bloke is shite, Joe shouldnt be pointing the fact out in interviews. This man is a friggin liability, he really is.

Happy argumentative racist greetings you old bastid!

Belated birthday greetings big man.

I think the feeling's mutual. They don't want to keep him [money] and he doesn't want to stay [ambition/money/Engerland]. Both sides will try to give the fans the impression it's the other's fault....Owen (or his advisers) is a master at this. I can't see him wanting to leave in Jan as he'd be worth more personally on a free. That's good news for us as we desperately need his goals (if selected/if fit/if he can be arsed). I have to say that this general apathy towards Owen and the view that he cant be arsed is one that confuses me. You look at the likes of Viduka who spends half of every season sitting on the treatment table and the other half putting in a fraction of Owens workrate yet he doesnt come in for the stick Owen does. I believe Michael Owen is a professional, one of the biggest (not in height obviously ) professionals in the game and while he is here I believe he gives 110% for this club yet gets no return for it (other than his 100k a week paycheque obviously). That paycheque though is not Owens fault, its the fault of those willing to pay such an amount, we cant blame Owen for how much he cost or gets paid and it shouldnt affect our views of him. The biggest risk to this clubs survival will be whether Michael Owen stays or not, either way we as fans should be showing him that we want him to stay. Currently it must not appear to him that we do.

This bloke has a fortune of £40million? thats not going to buy us, hang round though Mr Kahn and in June Im sure you can own us outright and still be able to buy a few number plates.
-
What an absolutely disgraceful article. I wouldnt even give it the credibility of the word "interview". £300 million is it now? hmmmm it just gets bigger and bigger this investment. Wow, he loves his football club so much that he sends a text to the manager after every game. If only us fans had that level of commitment. He cant even be bothered to make a phone call, "Jo, gd gme? lol x Mke" is as much as he can manage to arse himself to do? Please Mr Ashley, pass them onto us, lets see these threatening letters and emails, after all sending threats is a criminal offence yet Northumbria Police made it perfectly clear that they had never advised him he was in danger. Strange, if they'd seen such threatening stuff they would have surely. Bankrolls? Bankroll verb [T] INFORMAL to support a person or activity financially One penny, Mr Ashley, please show us one penny that you have invested in this club since the 16th September. To continue to bankroll the club must mean you have continued to dip your hand in your pocket. They paying of Keith Harris and co does not count as bankrolling or investment in this football club (even though I dont believe that came from your pockets but rather the clubs.).
