Allardyce: why Niall Quinn should make me Sunderland manager
peasepud replied to Jimbo's topic in Newcastle Forum
He better not get it, Ive got 2k coming if Steve Clarke gets the job -
how do you watch telly with that in the way???
-
Sounds like a damned fine idea to me..... NUSC to canvass the idea? NUSC need to contact the vatican about a sainthood tbh. We already have, seemingly I dont qualify just cos Im not catholic
-
I've also heard today that the club has laid off a number of personnel, office staff etc, added to that the fact that the stewarding has recently been sold off and a net profit on the September window and you have to now wonder what the fuck is going on? How can we need to lay off staff when theres been at least 3 million more come in at the start, x millions less going out in interest payments etc and no spending on players?

aye, I saw that !!!! eermm....has this opinion stuck then It caused a 6yr old huff of major proportions.i wouldn't go to the game for oooh, 3 weeks. Perhaps this has clouded my judgement, but i still wouldn't put him up there in my'favourite toon gaffers' list when I was about 9, my favourite player was Trevor Hockey Can't say I'm familiar with him-any good? He paved the way for the likes of Milburn who were to come years later aye, he even had a stand named after him Nah man, that was Davy East
-
We should be celebrating this mans life while hes here, not waiting for him to go before having a wake. I say NUFC should have a Sir Bobby day, everyone raise a glass to the man, let him sit in the dugout and we can sing Robson wonderland all game. Then beer and festivities all evening. Much rather do something like that than be sombre when hes gone.

4!!!! Oh fuck me thats 4 more disappointing days next season
-
I currently pay £500 for the priviledge of watching us get beat off big names such as Stoke, Hull, Fulham etc. If Im going to watch us crumble to Burnley, Blackpool, Swansea and the like then I'd get a £350 ticket thank you very muchly.
-
Wouldn't surprise if the Fat C*nt tried to sell the actual seats, he's tried just about everything else. yup and then proclaim the return of terracing for the fans (at a price)
-
I would have no problem with that personally, but only if the prices per game were lowered for pay as you go fans. well I don't expect to pay 500sheets to see Norwich, Barnsley, Plymouth etc
-
according to a reliable source 9000 ST holders took up the 3 year offer of which approx 40% paid it all upfront. By my reckoning that's about what? 3 million upfront? With a further 4.5mill or so over the next year via DD.
-
Or more likely it would have been keegan watching owen, given, viduka, Barton, harper and a host of others be pushed out of the door.
-
the actions of the board since the event should have convinced even the staunchest KK critics yet it seems not
-
And when he walked changes were made by that structure to correct the reason(s) for him walking. Thats why he came back, the board then had good enough sense to see that he was more important to the club than them.
-
I fear he will go not seeing us get out of this mess
-
Not there on my machine either so its site specific. Ive taken a look at the code but the display of those images doesnt seem to be in the CSS so its not looking like some CSS dependent issue.

I've just had a fiver on Steve Clarke at 400/1 on Betfair. Nailed on
-
wooohoooo Dyer, Parker and Bellamy
-
Yup, plus how much more pissed off would people be if we were in the same position with Keegan, he got no spends in January and walked on Feb 1st? Then we'd really have been in the shit, he gave the club plenty time to sort the mess out when he left, they havent done that.
-
Can I just say that if we go down then I dont want us to come straight back up. I would hope that we'd see a period of stabilisation and rebuilding before storming the league the season after, otherwise we're likely to become a yo-yo club in the mould of the makems. I know I'll be slated for that but its just my view, I think everyone needs some contemplation time and not just jump straight back on the "when we get to Europe" wagon as soon as we've won the first half a dozen games.
-
half of us have already committed to next seasons ST
-
I think when you look at how shit the first half of the season has been and then imagine us in the second half without the likes of Owen, Barton, Given, Martins etc and you have to think we're fooked. Plus if JFKs Christmas talk is anything like the half time team talks then we're going to lose everything next year.

yet remarkably funny
