He's slower than Campbell is now IMO (injuries?), I mean it sometimes can work out (like with Pearce), but you've got to be really on top of your other aspects not to get caught out if your pace has completely gone. He might be a good squad player to have, but I dunno about 1st team starter. Oh i agree and in our current situation we cant say no to a proven class defender who would be a good squad player for sure. Doesnt have to play in all the games nor be first choice but it is good to have decent backup. We just cant right players off at the moment for being too slow or too old. Would be great alongside Taylor in my opinion. I guess we shall just wait and see who Big Sam signs. Im more eager for this current season to start then ever. I come on every morning before going to work to see if we have signed anyone over night etc. For some reason i am more primed for the up coming season and wish it would start soonish!

I like this idea of being 'too old'. To me he may be on the wrongside of 30 but his experience will be vital and could still do a job for us even if it is coming in for a year to help our defence out. His positional sense and aerial ability are fantastic, his pace is probably lacking but for the lack of pace he makes up for it in positional sense. To me pace is overrated, we were told Oba could run the 100m in lighting pace. However he rarely gets to show his pace. I think we will be fine and dandy with Hyypia and he would be a good signing. Wasnt the same thing said about Sol Campbell last year? Too old, too slow?

Hmmm thats unfortunate to see him go as im sure he could of been more then useful for us. Apparently has pace to burn as well, which would of been handy.

No complaints about topless car wash Friday May 4 13:23 AEST Queensland police say they have not received any complaints about a topless car wash set up in Brisbane. Strip club entrepreneur Warren Armstrong has set up Bubbles 'n' Babes at Albion in the city's inner-north. The business offers a $55 car wash by a topless woman and a $100 wash by a nude female attendant - which includes an X-rated show. A police spokeswoman said no complaints had been received.
