  1. When asked this, Farage's first declaration was blue passports. Seriously.
  2. If the mail, express and telegraph can't find positive stories, have you considered the possibility that there aren't any?
  3. I got the impression they were genuinely pissed off about Yedlin and the less bitter/more honest ones did rate him. Manquillo however was greeted with universal amusement which I took as a bad sign. I accept the decent coach/manager view of course.
  4. I'm still not convinced Manquillo isn't as shit as the Mackems reckoned though.
  5. Aye, it was - don't know what their lies story was though.
  6. They did nowt when someone walked into an infants school - I won't hold my breath.
  7. There have been white murders which are clearly terrorism which go unlabelled as that though - Oklahoma/McVeigh and the cunt with the car in charlottesville for two where the right downright refused to call them that.
  8. What like being able to spend all spare earnings or talk of new contracts - those truths?
  9. No difference in the circumstances legally though.
  10. I don't have a problem with calling this bloke a nutter rather than a terrorist but that also applies to the bloke who went for it the gay nightclub in florida as well but he was categorised as a Muslim terrorist quickly and universally.
  11. Just need those who called the nfl protestors to state their support for the only amendment that does matter.
  12. And probably rich enough to hunt the cunt who pawned it down....
  13. On both trips to Barcelona for Newcastle matches I saw the civil guard or whatever they're called use batons again random fans who were just walking along doing nowt. Cowards and from what I've read very much part of the Franco/fascist past of Spain.
  14. Or say it was okay when we ruled the waves which we can do again apparently.

    Yes Gemmill...

Wonder if he paid for his funeral out of his future earnings. RIP.
  16. Have to hope she's reverted to type and is just flogging her book.
  17. He wasnt on the bench and Rafa mentioned him along with Dummet as being injured - not sure if its a reaction or as usual, he was declared fit too soon.
  18. He was also whinging about the rule changes they've brought in to reduce brain injuries ("lower ratings" in his original speech) - he honestly wants to see more people injured to make the sport "better".
  19. I'm surprised people don't make more of his draft dodging whenever he plays the military/patriotism/flag card - I know paying a doctor was standard rich people behaviour but still ....
  20. Wonderfully poisonous reaction from the fans won't help. No sympathy whatsoever.
  21. Some black players have been mimicing that gesture when the pre-match anthem is played in protest at police killings of blacks - that's what the stupid cunt is on about - for "sons of bitches" read "black bastards".

    Psychology

There's a Family Guy where Peter is sent on a sexism awareness course after telling the following joke at work: Why do women have breasts? So men have something interesting to look at while they're talking.
  23. The response is wrong anyway, concentrating on the figure per week - no matter what it is, he wouldn't spend it on the NHS - that's the real lie.
  24. Well she seems to start by saying she hasn't analysed the votes to see what happened then makes a big point of losses like Mansfield where it does look like "traditional" labour voters did abscond. I think that ignores the increased majorities in a lot of places which are a long way from the metropolitan/student areas she suggests. The demise of trade unions and a drift towards unregulated working practices does mean that the previous route to mass labour voters might be harder. If that is the case then engaging/bribing young people to get into politics and moreover vote is a damn good strategy - especially as the Tories have ignored them for so long. I still think Labour has to open up the debate about taxing the rich more - as I said at the time I think personal taxation isn't necessarily the way forward and Id concentrate more on tax avoidance/evasion as a starting point and then engage the public more about what taxation brings. Ben Goldacre had a series of tweets a while ago about how businesses exist in this country not just for market access but for access to staff and that means the staff want access to education. healthcare etc which costs money via taxes. As I said I'd like to see a broader debate about the state's role in regulating capitalism and in sharing its benefits among the whole population. I think the country is drifting back to some of the problems of the 80s/90s and the infighting among the tories is going to get worse - maybe the doom and gloom you showed before the election about the cunts being in power for a long time (some of which I shared) should now be fading - I just wish obviously decent people like Bridget would "get on board" and at least go all out.
