  1. Understandable, it's been a while since we've had an actual good player.
  2. A side effect of the pandemic is I'm way behind on a load of series - I used to watch an episode of something every day in my lunch hour but have never bothered when WFH. I haven't watched the third season of Ozark yet.
  3. They've been fucking around with rewards as well as fund withdrawal threats for ages - look at allocating money to Jenrick's constituency when it's affluent as fuck.
  4. Yeah good voice but dull songs. Must be shit being her current bloke when she announces a new album is due - you know you'll be out on your arse as she seeks inspiration.
  5. He's vermin who'll go home in two seconds if Johnson quits. 5 minute victory.
  6. The stupidity of that red wall polling is far too many of them saying their only problem is Johnson - it still hasn't got through to them that the tories as a whole hold them in contempt.
  7. I'm not a convert - I still think he's absolute dogshit.
  8. Not sure whether there'll be some kind of transition period in some places as we maybe still have EU passports (mine runs out this year as it happens) but when I went to Cyprus last October I started off joining the non-EU queue before realising everyone else off the flight had gone for the EU one which turned out to be right. I suppose it'll become clearer this year.
  9. Not sure about the legalities but if I was one of those students fined 10k for organising parties I'd be looking at appealing or suing when the met inevitably fail to prosecute.
  10. Every single cunt who knew Epstein knew exactly who he was and what maxwell did for him. Windsor even visited him after he was released from prison for noncing.
  11. The wording of the rules was "a work event deemed essential" - if he's been lawyered I'd suggest a new one. Unless they claim letting off steam/rewarding so called hard work is essential.
  12. I knew the end was due so started it last week and I'm 3 in. So far so good though its a bit less full on than the original which I think is probably for the better.
  13. The high pitched whine would have set off every dog in the NE.
  14. I have a slightly older model of the Jabra ones from Renton's review and they're excellent.
  15. Hard work does not equate to salary.
  16. And anyone who equates household finances to countries is ignorant.
  17. Because they believe the ultimate tory myth that all you need is to work hard to prosper. Also doesn't help that so many of their voters are retired and unaffected by wage value.
  18. Don't they refer to the IRA as "the lads" in Ireland? - makes sense if that's true.
  19. It's hard because one of the FCB's biggest crimes was selling off the land the previous owners had bought and earmarked for stadium development. Beyond that a lot of the land is owned by the freemen of the city and its use is limited - that's what stopped us building a new ground in the late 90s.
  20. I reckon more people in the UK will have had one or more of those than have had a covid vaccination so the scale is larger. Also the effects of the of the near eradication of polio and TB are triumphs.
  21. The accusation came from a typically hard line Israeli ambassador. I did like the comment that Starmer was scrambling to find out if she was a Labour member so he could expell her.
  22. It is because the establishment uses nepotism and school identity to exclude minorities and other unwanteds - obviously an added class element as well of course.
  23. Said there was no such thing as white privilege while ignoring his own nepotism based career. It's not just him of course, the extent of nepotism/inbreeding in British acting is fucking shocking.
  24. J&J and AZ are both very much traditional vaccines - probably even more so than Novovax.
  25. Not purity, just think private money with a cost has no place in public services. The investment was fine but should have been funded differently. I'd like to see a comparison of the long term costs of pfi versus public borrowing.
