I don't NEED to get drunk to have a good time!

Haven't drank for 3 years. Don't really want to preach to people about not drinking like as it's that individuals choice. Sure, some folk are arseholes when they're drunk, but then so was I when I drank.

Each to their own.

3 YEARS thats some blackout.

Haven't drank for 3 years.

Can't believe it's been that long - respect.

Although to be fair, after Newcastle last night and Aberdeen tonight it's certainly character building!

Aye was 3 years in November. Pretty proud of it like, if I do say so myself.

Guest Patrokles

The whole world seems to revolve around it.

I wonder what the cavemen did?

Killed things and took drugs, neither of which we're really allowed to do any more.

I drink and i get drunk but often it depends on what company i keep, if i am out with ma best mac then i dont need to get drunk to have a good time but on the other hand if i am out with the lads from work then i i get drunk as i dont enjoy some of the places they go out to.

Am I the only one who hates that saying? Just because you decide to go out with your mates and get drunk at the weekend it obviously automatically means you NEED to get drunk to have a good time!?

Its along the same lines as gay people that do the "yeah im gay, im proud and what are you going to do about it!" for no real reason! Normally to someone or some people who really don't give a shit what they do!

Well done you don't drink, well done you are gay, no-one really gives a fuck so why do we need a statement!?

when was the last time you went out with your mates and conciously decided not to drink because you didn't need to to have a good time, rather than some other convenient excuse?

I can have a perfectly good time without drink, but if i'm out somewhere and everyone else is drinking I have to drink. I can't bare it if i'm out sober and everyone else is drunk, i'm not a patient enough people and drunk people just wind me up and get on my nerves. Jokes that are funny when you're drunk just aren't at all when your sober etc. I love a bit of drunken banter but if i'm sober it just gets on my tits, would rather stay in.

Fair play Craig, you pissed on his argument, but you also made yourself look like a wierd internet stalker in the process.

By searching for posts created by 'J69' containing the word 'drink'??

Hardly stalking.... :baby:
