It is absolutely no exaggeration of the situation, or over reaction to say that Liverpool should get docked points for Kenny to still stubbornly maintain that his player should not have been banned for 8 games after he referred to another player as he did. coupled with the T-Shirts, the constant bleating on before the verdict, the absolute martyrdom... someone needs to put the whole club in its place with regards to this whole subject, because clearly they are completely incapable of doing so themselves. The most annoying thing about Liverpool is that they always look at things subjectively, rather than objectively. sentimental tits

He comes across as such a fucking dickhead in interviews. It's not being cagey or playing his cards close to his chest or anything like that. The bloke is just an arsehole. He has one of those faces that looks like its been aged by unpleasant thoughts.

Minute's silence next game if he gets retroactively banned etc.

He can't be because he got a card for it.

Meanwhile : Cabaye is still banned for much less.

The thing is, the ref gave him a yellow for it so no further punishment will be handed out because the FA will deem it suitably dealt with by the match officials!

When you're getting players sent off for alleged stamps and 2-footed tackles, there are genuine moments of malice that are glossed over. The officiating has been appalling this season, and there have been far too many cases of violent conduct bans floating around that haven't been such.

The same FA that appealed Rooney's international ban too. What a sorry bunch of pretentious, obnoxious arseholes they are.

Well everyone always has a gripe with the officiating, but i can't remember a time in recent years when there have been so many red cards over a short period of games. The officials have never got to grips with the current offside rule it seems either.

this season has been a stand out for poor decisions by the refs influencing results, theres not been a round of matches where it hasn't happened

It seems like we're saying that every year. Something has to be done about it! The FA cant just keep on letting refs gets embarrassed and abused after every game. My idea is having more refs on the pitch and having some sort of challenge system where the 4th assistant can look a replay and confirm or change a decision made by the ref.

Lua Lua scored a belter for Blackpool who are two nil up at Sheffield.

Aye, just been watching that. Looked like it could have been a cricket score in the first 20 minutes. Probably be a dull as fuck second half now mind.

Mental thinking I've seen him score a goal in Leverkusen like. Feels like a lifetime ago.

I've got a VHS of the Leverkusen game, am on it in the crowd celebrating after Shola ( yes children, almost unbeleiveably Tynesides chief purveyor of headwear has scored in the group stages of the champions league ;) ) We missed Luas opener as were being half chewed to death by the alsatians belonging to MP's of the British army of the Rhine who had "welcomed" us latecomers outside the ground. After drinking for hours with the locals near the ground after the game we ended up in Cologne in the only gay/lesbian/transgender nightclub open on a Tuesday night. This ended up with 50 or so Geordies on the dancefloor singing their own version of "hey Jude", accompanied by the in house band. We still talk about that night quite often when I run into some of the old crowd now, truly brilliant times.

Had a fucking great curry in Cologne that night - definitely the best one ever abroad.

Couldn't believe how many heed the balls were there - saw someone I know who'd done the alternative and flew/stayed in Dusseldorf and claimed the same so being a choice was probably a good thing.
