The lead is far too annoying, the blokes are decent comedic actors, but it's all a bit too try hard quirky for me. When was the last really good Sitcom? Gemmill 44090
Parks and Rec. Aziz Ansari's thing on Netflix is good too. Louie before that. Not sure the last two are strictly speaking sitcoms.

Renton 21032
The first series of Seinfeld is nearly 30 years old. Personally, I loved it. Far funnier than the likes of Frazier or Friends which it competed with at the time. The thing is, the characters were all intensely dislikable, but that was the point, as alluded to in the final episode. Mind, the cast of friends were equally hideous but this wasn't intentional as far as I can tell. More contemporaneously, I like Sharon Horgans stuff, especially catastrophe. Superb. David Kelly 1216
Disappointingly I'm in full agreement with Fish on this. Seinfeld is brilliant. It's Always Sunny is the best sitcom there's been for a long time.

Renton 21032
It's on Netflix isn't it? Might give it a go but it's daunting when there are so many series. I was recommended Arrested Development but I just couldn't get into it.
